As long as you lived a life well lived rural life isnt for everyone, the isolation, the lack of amenities, the lack of socialisation is enough to put a lot off. We are 100km of windy mountain roads from supermarket or picture theatre (takes about 1 1/2 hours to drive in our pos car), we do have a small corner store here but they dont have everything.
the lack of amenities is made up for by the abundance of beaches and mountain tracks to walk along.

And I do most of my socialising on LOP (yes it is a bit sad :chuckle:but whats a girl to do )

Ive seen photos of ones where the blues seemed to be glowing just awesome. Personally way to cold for this Ducky to be anywhere near chuckle

I can tell by the aroma that my dinner is just about done!! I'm gonna slide out and grab a bite or two ~ nuthin' nearly so luscious as lobster or ribs ~ but I'm sure it will be tasty! <Have a guest in the kitchen... chuckle

LOL the mild climate isn't just good ... tis awesome ... chuckle

I spend way to many days in the frozen lands but it does have benefits... I am looking forward to spending time in places where the sun is actually warm and not just a bright thing in the sky ... chuckle
