I'd stop killing my political opponents. Stop funding Hessbollah, hamas, and the taliban. Stop stoning women for having sex, stop abducting gay men and hanging them from bridges and cranes. Stop the refining of nuclear materials and accept russias offer of reactor materials. Open the country to free and fair monitored elections. Hold a peace seminar with isreal and the west. Replace the clergy as head of state and send them back to their mosques. stop interfereing in Iraq.

If I were the prez of Iran, the first thing I would do is become a Christian. The thought of a 72 year old virgin just doesn't get it for me. If this question were put to me as the U.S. President, I would declare victory in the Middle East, and spend the rest of my presidency trying to explain how the death of 70,000+ U.S. Service Members, and Trillions of dollars were worth the appeasement of 3200 people being killed on 911, and how safer we are today because of that and the development of the emerging police state we find ourselves in.

On second thought, maybe I would just declare victory, leave the troops over there, and go play Golf.

Sorry, you seem to be forgetting who killed four innocent people. It wasn't the conservatives, jewish OR neocons that started this whole mess. IT WAS THE MUSLIMS!!!!

Besides, I thought warfare had progressed to the point where a war could be won from the air with minimal loss of life (other than to the people being bombed).

Regardless, you seem to think we should appease them and look the other way like they did with Hitler in the beginning. History has a way of repeating itself once people forget the lessons learned from the past. I seem to recall that appeasement did not prevent that war from happening, it just delayed it!
