Electrolytes fill the list, but why in phosphate form? For instance what good is mg phosphate? Not readily absorbable by the body.

I will absolutely agree though that electrolytes are of extreme importance and in particular the correct ratios.

So what are we being deprived of and what are we being overloaded with?

For one phosphates are in complete excess. In the form of phosphoric acid. Number two is sodium chloride. Continual overdose of what we call "table salt".

What is deprived? 68% of Americans deficient in magnesium. It is completely depleted in the soil due to over farming and is not added to industrial fertilizers. Mg is necessary for the function of over 300 enzyme processes. Furthermore mg converts to ATP which is the fuel or energy for cellular activity. Liken mg to crude oil and ATP to gasoline.

Since this thread is about fire and the central nervous system I would like to point out a few things.

Mg converts to ATP which is fuel for the Na/k cellular pump. In the central nervous system 70% of all ATP produced goes to operating these pumps. Think about that a minute. If you were to expend 70% of all your energy toward a single process that process would obviously be foundational to your desired end.

On a side note look at the electron configuration of mg. Central nucleus and 12 electrons in 3 orbits. Coincidence?

So here is a big issue and it really doesn't matter what sign you were born under. Mg deficiency equates to starvation at the cellular level. So people eat and eat but are not satisfied at the cellular level. This creates huge cravings for carbohydrates and we only need to look around to see where that goes.

Say your cells had a desired amount of Na/k pumps that was considered to be running at optimal performance. If the underlying energy to run the pumps is not available then the number of pumps produced would be cut back. This is logical. Does this equate to misfiring in the central nervous system?

What brings on calcification? Or hardening of nerves, veins or pituitary gland?

Think about that word electrolyte a minute or actually really meditate on it. What is the benefit of having a proper intake and ratio?

What forms of the electrolytes are most absorbable and which does the body pass as waste?

ye are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its savor it is no good but to be cast out and trodden under foot.
