Yes even if religion can be used as a starting point to spiritual evolution most choose the stagnation to avoid taking responsibility and assume what they truly are.

It is much more easy to allowed a magical being to be responsible for all then to assume our own life.

God is us and nothing else anyone believing otherwise is at the very beginning of their own spiritual evolution step.

There is no mission or any specific heroic act to accomplish, just experiencing our own creation in the physical world.

In our manly form we cannot remember who we truly are for a very good reason.

What would be the point incarnating in a realm where i have absolute power on everything?

As an analogy when you use cheat to play a game you loose the pleasure of beating the game the way it was intend.

So what we love as god incarnated is creating some challenging experiences in the physical world.

And the path is hard to get out of years of indoctrination from any current man made religions since often you will loose all your love ones in the process.

That the main reason people don't want to do it, laziness and fear.

Any argument for or against God starts from a position of ignorance and therefore moot. If your belief system (or lack of belief) comforts you that's all that really matters.

Taking personal responsibility for how we think and act in this physical world really has nothing to do with the Creation of ALL things. Personal responsibility is about creating our selves, and being the person that we think we should be.
