Not so much in agreement on the boots; I wear mukluks pretty much year round, unless my work requires other (steel toe boots or such). I've never had a problem. But agree, a lot of people, well, the Natives called them Tenderfeet for a reason ;-)

But I agree. Theoretical knowledge, experience applying that knowledge, then, for me, I want a good hatchet/belt axe.
