It's a stupid non-issue. The judge should dismiss. But if the judge is a libtard, who knows what havoc he could wreak.

RE: Zimmerman Question
Judge Stays Zimmerman’s Bail, For Now

April 27, 2012

A Florida judge on Friday rejected a prosecutor’s motion to increase bail for George Zimmerman, the man charged in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, after his lawyer disclosed that Mr. Zimmerman had received more than $200,000 from a legal defense Web site he established.

Mr. Zimmerman was released from jail Monday on $150,000 bond.

Mark O’Mara, Mr. Zimmerman’s lawyer, told the court Friday that he had learned only a few days ago of the amount of money collected through the Web site, therealgeorgezimmerman.com, which was taken down this week. Mr. O’Mara said the money had been placed in a trust account that he would control until a decision about what to do with it was made. He said some of the money had already been used, including about $5,000 toward Mr. Zimmerman’s bond.

The prosecutor, Bernardo de la Rionda, had sought to have Mr. Zimmerman’s bail raised, maintaining that the Web site’s donations should have been used to calculate the amount of the bond.

But Judge Lester said he lacked sufficient information about the site’s operation and ownership to immediately revisit Mr. Zimmerman’s bail. He directed Mr. O’Mara to submit documentation regarding who would ultimately control the Web site and its funds.

“I may have authority. I may not have authority,” the judge said about reconsidering bail. “I don’t know.”

When he said he had no money, in order to keep the bond low, he actually had $200,000. in the bank. This money was donated for his defense fund. He has used $50,000. of it as living expenses so far, which means he has access to the money and it should have been revealed to the court before bond was set. You may not like it personally, but it is the law.

It could be done if you're staying in a 300. a night hotel, eating all meals in a restaurant, running up a bar tab and inviting a few friends along for the ride.

Over $1600 a day? Considering the emotional stress he was under as well as the murder threats against him, I highly doubt he was doing any of the above...

If I was Zimmerman, I'd be blowing it on fake IDs and guns.
