Whats wrong with an athiest liking reggae? I dont care if music has some religious lyrics,a good song is a good song! Lmao

Yeah, I am an atheist but also look at the quoted lyrics to the band in my avatar and you wouldn't assume that. We just frame the same emotions differently: "Two Versions of the Same" as the band even mentions. Vision Divine goes out of their way to make the albums for anyone especially atheists. It's the music as a function of religion bullshit that needs to go, not the lyrical nature.

I think every human being has a yearning for the Divine, and it all depends on how we frame it. Maybe it's just a chemical function of the brain. Maybe there's one Savior. Maybe a there's Pantheon. I honestly don't know for sure, and it doesn't matter to me at all what you believe if it makes you a better person -- a kinder, more compassionate human being to every living thing. And music can awaken that in us. There's a track on an album by Peter Gabriel that is a Muslim call to prayer and it is stunning in its beauty (at the moment I can't find it on YouTube, but it is on the Passion Sources album). I don't care what you are, atheist, pagan, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Jew, Jainist, or anything else, if you are seeking beauty and truth in an honest way, if you're sincerely spreading kindness in the world (and that takes action, not just belief), you're on the side of Good.

There is no pursuit more important and meaningful than falling in love with the Earth and her abundance. -- Jane Futcher
