anyone hear about the "White Horse Prophecy ?"
The hour before Coast to Coast came on they had another program similar to it..(I did not catch the name of it).. But they were talking about this.. Saying Joseph Smith Believed a Mormon Prophet (Savior) would come to the US ..(When we were in times of Perri l) and Save the Constitution from destruction...

Could be a false prophet. I can't be Romney because he's a politician, not a prophet.

RE: anyone hear about the "White Horse Prophecy ?"
Where's the prophecy?
The White Horse is in the UK and many crop circles have arrived in that area.
The prophecy of Prophet Obadiah mentions Esau, Joseph and Jacob. The Rabbi's stated that only Joseph can help ESAU (USA). Of course, the Joseph mormon was not the Joseph mentioned in the scriptures or the Dead Seas. Prophet Isaiah predicted that the one would come wearing many colors and only one in a thousand would be able to stand in integrity before Joseph. Joseph that saved them from the famine in Egypt, also had a dream when he was 17 years old that the one would come in his name. I think you will find that Romney has part ESAU blood running in his veins on his mother's side e.g. Native Indian.

RE: anyone hear about the "White Horse Prophecy ?"
Revelation 19:11-16
11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses

RE: anyone hear about the "White Horse Prophecy ?"
Term referring to a politician who does nothing but appease the masses. The white-horse aspect refers to the fact that such a politician will "ride in and rescue all the people from their sorrows". The man-on-a-white-horse typically labels himself as a champion of the common man. Those who don't support the man-on-a-white-horse label the politician as the opiate of the masses.
Also connotates a politician who wins or attempts to win an election based solely upon the contrast between himself and his opponent. Usually this occurs when a nation is in some sort of turmoil or when opposing politicians are corrupt or overbearing upon the people.
In essence, this is a negative term used by historians or other political analysts to denote a reform candidate who would be unable to win if it weren't for the opposition. Also, it suggests that the man-on-a-white-horse's platform is not well thought out but only there to denote him as "different", as well as to get votes.

Quote:Though there are doubts about the authenticity of the White Horse Prophecy as a whole, several sources attribute to Smith the idea that the United States Constitution would one day hang by the thread, and LDS Church leaders have issued similar warnings with regard to the Constitution.[7][17]
In 1855, Brigham Young reportedly wrote that "when the Constitution of the United States hangs, as it were, upon a single thread, they will have to call for the 'Mormon' Elders to save it from utter destruction; and they will step forth and do it."[7][18]
In 1858, Orson Hyde (another contemporary of Smith) wrote that Smith believed "the time would come when the Constitution and the country would be in danger of an overthrow; and ... if the Constitution be saved at all, it will be by the elders of [the LDS] Church".[7][19]
In 1922, the LDS Church's fifth presiding bishop, Charles W. Nibley, stated that "the day would come when there would be so much of disorder, of secret combinations taking the law into their own hands, tramping [sic] upon Constitutional rights and the liberties of the people, that the Constitution would hang as by a thread. Yes, but it will still hang, and there will be enough of good people, many who may not belong to our Church at all, people who have respect for law and for order, and for Constitutional rights, who will rally around with us and save the Constitution."[15][20]
In 1928, the LDS apostle Melvin J. Ballard remarked that "the prophet Joseph Smith said the time will come when, through secret organizations taking the law into their own hands ... the Constitution of the United States would be so torn and rent asunder, and life and property and peace and security would be held of so little value, that the Constitution would, as it were, hang by a thread. This Constitution will be preserved, but it will be preserved very largely in consequence of what the Lord has revealed and what [the Mormons], through listening to the Lord and being obedient, will help to bring about, to stabilize and give permanency and effect to the Constitution itself. That also is our mission."[20]
