RE: consciousness
You seem to be missing the point.
Who do you think showed me the way out.
You have mistaken me entirely, I am a servant of god and I am giving you his message but your ego won't let you listen because you are still a prisoner, but you think you aren't leaving you in the perfect trap.
Judge not least yea be judged yourself.
Release your ego, be free.
Stop reacting, just be and listen for the message. If it isn't for you carry on, there may be others who are at the right place in their existence to get it.
I am not you and you are not me.
You have your free will and so do I.
You don't have to listen to me or anybody else in this life, everyone is where they are because that is where they need to be.
I'm not arguing with you, this has been merely a discussion, each of us are free to take from it what we like.
If you want to push your points down someones throat, perhaps you aren't on god's side at all.
Love dissolves all the negative, use it wisely.

RE: consciousness
It appears that free will is our greatest strength and biggest flaw as a species.
Maybe we are learning to be compassionately detached

Everything is conscious. 'Even' a rock.

That is not 'bigger picture'. Under normal circumstances that scenario is within the constructs of free will. In fact, inhabitants of planets have been allowed to destroy their planets many times before. Most of the time there is no intervention. Earth, however, is something of a unique consideration.
LoP Guest Wrote:And I've come to believe that we are too young to have a great deal of free will. Like a parent, God may do more harm than good for us if we are allowed absolute free will.
Yes and No. It's a bit more involved.

RE: consciousness
All knowledge is a priori. That is to say (in my mind at least) that all conceptions are built upon the conceptions before them and therefore are all arbitrary. The fact that experience is common, yet inferred differently, implies that there is an external, independent reality, yet through cognition being restricted to our minds, it is neccessary to create the illusion of reality based in our frame of reference, independantly of the actual event (which has always transpired in the past).
Logic leads to nihilism. I am a promoter of doubt. We are not the centre of anything but our own perceptions. I do not wish harm to anyone as I am not in a position to judge. I defend mine when threatened. I do not take more than I need.
I choose to listen to my own best reasoning (flawed as it is) and not believe in comforting fairy tales if it a) contradicts my own logic or b) is deemed unneccessary.
I acccept pointlessness, but that is neither a reason to live or die. I choose my morals based upon logic and empathy. There is no need for purpose or God to "do unto others as you would have them do to you".
"There are no solutions, only cowardice masquerading as such."

I've watched you flip-flop and pose two contradictory views of life. But since your avatar is an anonymous one, I could have actually been talking to two different people.
.....
You all present interesting possibilities, but your possibilities are based on points of view of that of someone on this planet. The only way I can show you the reality that I see, and believe is a more accurate version of reality, is to explain how I arrived at it.
I was praying to God, one night, and discussing with myself the same things we've talked about, morality, why people exist, why bad things happen. And then, very clearly, I truly heard the spirit in my mind. I had asked God why he had made us. He answered, not audibly, but mentally, "What would you have done if you had been entirely alone and had the ability and opportunity to create company?"
I had to admit, I would have created companions for myself.
His second question came quickly, "How would you teach them to treat you decently?"
From there, I began to see things from his point of view. From the point of view of a creator, of a God, instead of the created.
Until you take that stance, you are going to be locked in your egos.

You might be assuming that 'everyone is from Earth'.
You might also be assuming that information shared with you here is 'from Earth'.

I have had exactly the same experience, except I was tripping on acid and I meet god and he showed me the situation and I felt it as well. There was a bit more to it, to see how all of the different realities were created and what we look like as entities and why we are [with emotions] as we are.
You seem to be missing the next bits of information where we were granted free will and then it got us into this situation from which we have to escape.
This place is the testing ground and this is the test.
You will, be here until you have learned to free yourself, and control yourself.
I was told if I showed people the door they still wouldn't want to take it even though it is their inheritance, to grow up and go to the next level of existence.
No-one is going to come riding on a white horse to save you. You are here under your own steam. If you thought you were good enough to take this test then take it you will.
Just learn.
When you have learned enough you will be able to walk out the door the next level.
If you weren't beset by robbers and thieves you wouldn't be able to learn what you need to.
Ditch your bible and read the Nag Hammandi that is what the Archons have been trying to hide from you.

Gnosticism, Archons, seducing spirits.
I've had all my experiences without drugs, shrooms, or asphyxiation.
I went to relax and see a movie, and ended up seeing it from several points of view, from the good masons, the druid masons, the non-initiated, the conspirators and their camps, from God's point of view, from the demons and angels that influenced it, from the point of view of the director, the writers, from my wife's point of view, from the illuminati's mind set's point of view, and their various sects within what is basically still freemasonry, and from the points of view of my future children, believe it or not, and from the point of view of narcissism and self-indulgence, and from the Loki/Navajo trickster God and Crow from the Native Americans in Alaska, and from different temperal versions of myself if I got up and walked out, and I felt my mind actually trying to expand and see it from even more points of view, and I had to stop it from expanding because I wanted a rest, but there was no rest.
I have always been extremely honest with you guys. I've had more experiences than I've shared on this site in the past, and all without demons and drugs. And you know as well as I that it is not going to stop, and I already do things with my mind that you guys only brag about, and yet you still stubbornly cling to lies and delusions based on drugs and cult demonic aids?
Don't you think it is time you tried it my way?
It's pride, isn't it?
You are that kid that just won't ask the parent for help, to show you how to ride the bicycle. You have to do it your way. You get up there, and wreck yourself over and over again, never learning when or how to use the brakes. No patience, no consistency, no loyalty to anyone but close family, and even that is debatable.
Well, fine. Be that way. Ignore something beautiful and choose something wicked and destructive.
At least you taught me fully, one important lesson.
There really are some people that I can not teach.

RE: consciousness
In my view, free will has allowed mankind to see God from different view points (Judaism, christanity, buddhism, etc) however, free will has also allowed man to cut God to Mans cloth. it's going to take some time before we consciously understand that the goal is to cut ourselves to our creators cloth in order to evolve.
Clear as mud?
