I know the repair ratios of certain things
When I had my own store, If someone was wanting to sell me a broken playstation 2 , I would give $3 for it
All it worth.. after I out the effort and parts in to repairing it.
Broke ps2 systems sell for $30 or more, not near worth the risk ratio of reparing, for those cost
Its like broke ps2 systems, should sell no more than $4

Broke ps2 systems sell for $30 or more on ebay, not near worth the risk ratio of repairing, for those cost of $30

so thats why I say its a scam
Cuz of most know the repair ratio of ps2 systems, and the effort or parts to repair one, no one would bid over $4 for a broke ps2
http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-PS2-System-Lot...1e720465a6

$200 for 4 broke ps2 systems
average price of used in perfect condition these days, it about $40 a system
its costing you more for a broken one
hence the scam

On eBay, or anywhere else for that matter, an item's value is determined by what folks are willing to pay for the item.

Evidently there are some avid collectors of old pens out there.

Okay ...

Well I was only looking at it because I got a message from a student telling me that a conspiracy nut called Russ who sells calendars was one of the front runners on it, so I came into this thread just in case that's what it was about.

f*ck off OP, f*ck you and your failed ebay auctions. Why do you insist on continuing to spam them here day after day?

RE: ebay stuff again
Nothing wrong with ebay if you know how to use it. Great way to get cash for things you dont need, and when you want something its not hard to get it much less than retail. Cameras, phones, clothing, you can save a lot. No you cant sell garbage and expect to make hundreds of dollars nor can you expect great items for dirt cheap. OP sounds like such a whiny baby.

the past 2 weeks
has sucked, prices has dropped
why?
not sure why
even 2 weeks items I was selling was going for hire

Because no one wants to buy a bunch of shit they don't use. People where I live no longer are attending yard sales in the numbers they used to just a couple months ago (and folks around here treat it like a professional sport - they're nuts. Nice to see the change)
