I don't know what "silence" is 'cause all I hear in the quietest of places is an extremely high pitched "ring" I guess you could call it.

I'm not sure if it's from loud music and power tools, or something else.

Oh, but my ears have been popping these last few weeks here and there for no reason. Sometimes it's one ear only, but it feels like it's travelling to the other through my head...

I hope my ears are okay...

either way, it is still strange to me. it's almost like my personal space is being intruded upon. i don't really remember hearing the high frequencies so much when i was a child.

Yep. And suddenly the tone will pitch higher and louder. There's usually what I call a base tone that's always there, all I have to do is stop what I'm doing and I hear it. It's been increasing substantially over the past few years.

I have tinnitus, it's always height pitched frequency all the time. Actually though I find it helpful though. Somewhere to place attention when I need to quiet the mind.

i'm not sure exactly where it is coming from but the earth speaking through the wind is very plausible. it could also be government control trying to manipulate people through high frequency waves. hell, they spray the air with all those chemtrails to try to calm everybody down, why not use high frequency waves as well? a large plane sprayed 4 streams of chemtrails directly over my house a month or two ago in a half circle pattern. it was strange.

I'm leaning that way myself. It's always happened my whole life, but now it's so darn frequent that I don't know what to make of it.

that wouldn't surprise me either. this would explain why i never really heard them when i was a child because there weren't as many signals in the air then. it is still annoying to say the least.
