how many of you suspect you have been here before?
and do you have any past life memories?
i have some that i am not positive of but it feels real to me, and would explain some irrational fears that i had and some characteristics and talents that came naturally to me,
on a side note i have shared my experience with animals in my life that i am sure were something else before
my cat gibson being one, he is getting a bit better but has displayed behavior that makes me believe that he is at times completely uncomfortable in his feline skin,
reincarnation makes sense in many ways but just like every other belief system i don't think it holds all the answers,
belief systems and religious dogmas of every stripe seem to have elements of truth or pieces of the overall bigger picture, and our job is to put together the cosmic jigsaw puzzle
so if you feel like sharing by all means do so

Many times. I have a few past life recalls. Nothing notable or fancy schmancy, just other lives. I can't NOT believe in reincarnation.

RE: how many of you suspect you have been here before?
I have memories. I don't think of them as past lives but maybe I am remembering something genetic?
When I was a child I loved caves and I loved going to the river bank on 18 mile island(Ohio River) and pretending they were my home made me very comfortable.I only felt safe in and around little caves and stuff.
I tend to think I was"remembering" when my ancestors first lived in that region.
No place else quite does it.

I know I have.
Ever meet someone for the first time and you just click? Kinda like running into an old friend. I swear - I knew them from the past.

Yes. My husband use to do past life regressions with hypnosis. He is boring now.

As far as animals go, yes, I believe they are every bit a part of it as we are and are going through much the same things. I had one of my dog's "energy" return to visit me and it was an experience I will never forget. And they also have a spirit/soul.
I have a cat with me now who has been with me before....but still as a cat.

RE: how many of you suspect you have been here before?
Have that a lot.. some days I'm convinced I'm on some mission that takes centuries and centuries to complete, and I'm born into it when I'm tired of resting out there. There are historical periods I'm very interested in (because I wasn't there, and thus wonder what went on), and others I know immediately and empathize with deeply. Turkish things, on the other hand, scare me deeply and immediately. Some very sharp images as well.. a statue here, a small house there, a Chinese plain, London (had a dream about that one once, would enjoy knowing who I was that time around, 1840ish-1920ish).

deja vu is another clue that we may have been here before, everyone experiences it, and traditional dogma cannot explain it satisfactorily
so its another piece of the puzzle imo

RE: how many of you suspect you have been here before?
I was born in 59, but my first memory is of being shot.
I was standing on a street corner next to a pharmacy type store that had just closed. It was around 1945 and I was about 20 yrs old, it was raining out and I was waiting for a ride. I KNEW it was a 50/50 chance that my ride would get there before I got shot. A car pulled to the corner, the back window came down and someone shot me.
ehh, it was an insignificant, "inbetween" life that wasn't important anyway. Just something to do, between the last one and this one.

I'm not sure that deja vu is an aspect of reincarnation. I've thought about that. A lot of the times we have deja vu is when we are doing mundane things and the feeling comes on that I've been in this exact spot doing this exact thing in these exact surroundings. How can that be if it was another lifetime in another era? It doesn't make sense.
I've considered the notion that deja vu might occur when something major in our soul path is coming up and it's like a signpost that things are going to change. An opportunity? A choice in the path? Something, or a time, the soul maybe recognizes it should be aware of. I don't know.

See! We like coming here whether we like to think it or not!

RE: how many of you suspect you have been here before?
I've remembered many past lives, and many things come naturally to me. One of my teachers described me like, "You're a combination of Indiana Jones and MacGyver." He said it in a way like I was supposed to be doing something with such talents, so I traveled the world and explored many ancient ruins.
Quite a few of my past life memories came to me as I explored ancient places, and also as I reconnected with soul partners.
Natural disasters, major attack on the U.S., martial law, civil war, WWIII, foreign invasion/occupation, and then basic survival.
