What is it, a rheumatic pain?

You need vitamin D and B12 anyway I suppose ...

Try cold/warm packs.. whichever feels best to you. Stay away from draft. And definitely go to see doctor.

If the pain is constant no matter the position, you might well have a kidney infection. Go to the doc, don't let it fester all weekend.

If it is a kidney infection, I agree. However, if you go to the doctor you will be prescribed antibiotics. I would, if I was you and didn't know exactly what the problem was and didn't want to go to the doctor:

1. Go out and get some Colloidal Silver and begin taking a few ounces every three hours or so. If there is an infection it should clear it up within a day , much faster than antibiotics.

2. If you have hurt yourself during excercising.... I would take the spice called tumeric. I would make a tea or a warm glass of milk, and put in a teaspoon of tumeric. It's easier to take in the milk, I believe, but I've used tea myself. It will act as an anti-inflammatory and will certainly help with the pain. Do this several times a day 2-3, and also when you notice pain comes back.

Because you don't know what you have, if I was you, and I'm not, THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE, I REPEAT NOT MEDICAL ADVICE, I would do both therapies at once. I have had a kidney infection and I know the pain associated with it! I have problems with my knees and I know tumeric is what I use when they bother me greatly.

RE:lower back is hurting bad, never had back pain, need help/advice
Keep this in your head and remember this...........God did not make us weak and he made us very adaptable. Just remember that.

We have the capability to endure great physical and emotional pain and we have the capability to heal ourselves if you know how.

Here is what i would do if i were you. Get some woman who is warm and loving to give you a rub down where it hurts....and all over. Then stretch as much as you can little by little. And keep in your head that progress will be made. Walk as much as you can. Walking is very good for the body. Put on some nice music and relax after all the therapy i recommended. Light some candles. Relax.

Then repeat the process. I guarantee you that you will feel better and stronger. And by the way. There really is no need to lift weights to get strong. But you can lift them if you want. Just take it slow. And try to see the weights you lift as symbolistic representations of things that bother you in your life. You will get really strong then.

Are you afraid to go to the toilet cause every movement hurts or within your bowel too?

Anyway it sounds like sciatic pain to me combined with a irritation of the kidneys, as I said you need vitamin D and B to heal it if it is so ...

what can i do?

I've been doing serious back pain for 30 years now as a result of a being in a really bad car wreck as a kid of 10. And, as is typical for those things, the damage doesn't roll in for around 10 years. So well known is that fact that Chiropractors will actually seek people out who had been in notable wrecks after 10 years.

In my case, I had 6 herniated discs, 2 in lower back 2 in mid section and 2 in neck. As well, the power of the impact swelled up my spinal chord in my neck and thorax, such being called "syrinxes". I've already had my 2 lower discs fused out, but have now reached the point that due the trauma, all my discs are seriously degenerating and directly impinging upon my spinal cord, a condition which is "non-operable" due the wide spread nature of the damage.

Anyway, I was just saying that to let you know I'm not just talking out of my ass as I've been there and continue to live there everyday of my life.

Your first move should be to a Chiropractor. He'll check you out for general vertebra spacing, alignment etc. He'll line things up etc, and from that you can see where it takes you.

If that doesn't do the trick, then it's time to go see an orthopedic spinal doc and a neuro doc to have possible MRI's etc. General vitamin and supplement intake is a good idea as well, as others have suggested here. Hopefully, you're not in the same boat as myself, with much of the key being found in the amount of physical blunt trauma your body has sustained in your life.

Also, back appropriate exercises are KEY in this. If you're doing standard old style on your back sit ups, STOP immediately. Wrong exercises of that nature are very back damaging.

I hope this helps. Heartflowers

I think you should continue to look at conspiracy theory forums for help. Alien Earth, Godlike Productions, Above Top Secret, Conspiracy Theory Research List, etc. are great places to go for advice on severe medical conditions.

You'll find cures for everything from Aagenae's Syndrome to Zuska's Disease. And of course, all the posters with such advice are experts in the field of medicine.

Go see a doc..

A mainstream doctor will only give you muscle relaxers and pain meds. If you can find a chiropractor who's not a quack, they can work wonders, but it takes time and can get a bit expensive.

Vitamin B-6 works for nerve irritation or damage. Start at about 300mg/day for a few days then gradually reduce the dose over two or three weeks to a maintainence dose of 50mg/day. Too much for too long can be harmful. It really helped me with nerve irritation from using the mouse for several hours a day.

RE:lower back is hurting bad, never had back pain, need help/advice
I have been there op O know your worry and frustration. I was in agony for a long time I could not do ANYHING and If i allow bad habits to come back my pain comes back too even now years later, but now I almost forget i ever had a problem, normally does not bother me - unless i start to slip back into bad habits
[/u]
I have tried everything you can think of and found only two solutions, they helped me more than you could imagine but were also very very hard to do.

1. Eliminate sitting from you life as much as possible. THis is harder than it sounds. I means you have to avoid things like sitting whle you eat, people will think you are strange standing, you will feel strange standing, I don't think i sat down once for six months, in bars you will feel awkward standing whilst everyone sits, you will get teased about being a bum bandit when you do not sit down even on your lunch break. You will have to either do your job standing up or get a new job if this is not possible. ( Not possible in my job so I had to get a job in construction, as a labour, and i had to buy a motorbike so that i would not have to sit in a car) Sounds weird right, labourer with a bad back but Hey it worked for me.

Believe me it is hard, but it worked. Avoid lying down too, except for sleep.
If you are addicted to the internet i suggest you put up a shelf for your laptop at nipple height.

Sitting is the enemu. The sooner you can accept that sitting is not going to be anormal part of your life the sooner you will recover.

2. Walk everywhere and swim often. It will be hard at first but really it does help. Particularly the walking. If you can walk to work in less than one hour then walk to work and home. It may hurt at first but later you will see it working.

AVOID- painkillers, they just help you to further agravate the problem, pain is here for a reason.

Alchohol on the other hand can help. It relaxes your mussles, and it is mostly muscle frieze that causes the problem. The muscles freize to protect the injured backj nad then forget to loosen off ( only advisable if you are alos willing to change the habits such as sitting that have caused the aggracation in the first place.)

I have had a stiff back for days once and then drank a botlle of red wine, low AND BEHOLD, BACK WORKING AGAIN . ( just remember though , you are pissed so sitting down might not hurt today but it will set you back)

Also if you go to any doctors ask how they can look at your back without putting it down on any record. It may not be helpful to you later in life if you have a record of a bad back.

I just got the doc to pretend it was an injury, but basically docs not much help, they will do test after test when really the problem is most likely lifestyle. Same goes for oesteopaths, they may click you back in but other than that there work is done, they will tell you you need to go back again and again but its bullshit.

What you need to do is change your lifestyle.

SAY NO TO SITTING
SAY NO TO INACTION

its that simple.

GET OFF YOUR f*cking ARSE, we are not designed anatomically for sitting.

RE:lower back is hurting bad, never had back pain, need help/advice
and if you really relly have to sit for some reason ( better make it a damn good rason) sit on an exersise ball or backward on a chair, like a motorbike rider. I used to go stiff with agony (ooh er) after only a few minutes in a car, but could sit m=on a motorbike for hours.

That is the difference between sitting and straddling I suppose. My job now involves about three hours of sitting a day, and i get round it by straddlin a bench seat sideways, like it is a motorbike.
