Actually grains are not all that bad. It's the modern hybrids we have of today that are bad.
Further,it's best when the grains are sprouted, and eaten raw. Or at least fresh from the plant but I really don't know how they're harvested TBH to know if they can even be eaten fresh.
The most ancient form of wheat if Einkorn. Then there's kamut, and spelt. And there's also triticale. but Einkorn seems to be the best digesting one or at least preferable to spelt.
The problem with grains is that people are too unhealthy to handle that amount of starches or even carbs in the first place. They eat it unsprouted, and they are also stored for long periods of time in which they can catch molds.

The key culprit is a substance called diacetyl, which adds a buttery taste to foods without using any actual butter. It’s found in everything from microwave popcorn and the buttery topping used at movie theaters to snack foods, pet foods, margarines and baked goods. You would probably never know it from looking at ingredient lists, however: Most manufacturers will only list “artificial butter flavoring” without noting the specific compounds that make up that flavoring.

Also, a lot of your paleo eaters forget entirely about the technology of farming, gardening and sprouting. Like, it was actually farming which gave us the huge advantage to become more civil as a society and have an abundance of food.

While some researchers argue that grain didn't become a staple until fairly recently, 10 thousand years or so, other research suggests humans have been eating grasses for 70 thousad years or longer according to an article at blog.scientificamerican.com on research. Published in Science. I can't post the link because I'm on a phone. Search history of grain in human diet

Exactly. Yea grasses may be it.
I recently got a wheatgrass juicer and I was researching on the internet about it. It turns out wheatgrass was used by the Ancient Egyptians. I dont know if they used the juice but damn they knew the health benefits of grass.
How the hell do you consume it anyways if you dont have a juicer?

Doesn't say anythign about grasses in specific though. It talks about grains themselves, ie grass seed.
Hm..
Other than that I guess chewing and spitting out is the only way to really digest anything from them without a juicer. That's hard though.. very hard and time consuming.

Corn is the one grain that I think might be suitable for the human digestive system (in much smaller amounts than we currently eat). It has no close relatives, and the indians claim that Maize was a gift from the sky brothers.
