Due to not being able to find any sort of job here, would that make me a bad person? Yeah I'm young and able-bodied, that doesn't mean people are going to just hire me. I live at home with my family, and everyone is struggling to get by. My mom can barely make ends meet on her own.

So if I went to apply for assistance to help my family , would that make me a bad person?

I'm not sure of the rules because I've never had to look into it, but don't they take the entire household income -v- number of people? Otherwise, housewives who don't work but whose husbands make $200K could apply because they don't have an income. Or, college kids living in a dorm could get it and then spend it on junk food, etc. You know what I mean?

If you need them, your mother may have a better chance of getting them. IDK. But, it's not right to starve if there is a way to get food.

No you wouldn't be bad for getting Food Stamps to help your family. Black people like the one on the video about the phone leeching the system are bad.
