There's over a dozen countries where voting is compulsory and forced and there's another dozen where it's compulsory but not enforced. The idea being that if people have to vote then they're more likely to take notice of what's being offered.

I was responding to the totally correct assessment of Australia's big brother network, probably second only to England's.
I was being slightly facetious about the scissors, but I guess that may be wasted on morons.
John Howard disarmed Australia so we couldn't hurt ourselves in case you don't remember genius. Been working out great, gun crime has only skyrocketed.
