It only bothers you because you've been reading alternative media websites and watching the videos they produce. Instead of watching that stuff and getting all upset about it why not think for yourself?

The Alex Jones, Art Gundersens, and others have been screeching about how everyone is already dead. The panic and claims of the end of the world have been off the charts for a year. One would think that after a year their would be piles of bodies and skyrocketing cancer from this ELE. There isn't, none of their predictions of death and disease have come true. It's all fearmongering self promoting horseshit.

Time to realize what these assholes are and ignore them. Go back and listen to an Alex Jones broadcast from one year ago, then listen to one from today. You'll notice that he went from predicting radiation doom to not talking about it at all.

how did you come up with those numbers? Not that it matters, because you are not making a meaningful comparison. This water is polluting the whole food chain, as is the fallout and other contamination from the crippled plant.

There should have been an immediate international effort with the best nuclear scientists making recommendations for the governments of the world to pool their military and industrial capabilities to take care of this situation, then to de-commission all the nuclear power plants due to their intrinsic lack of safety - and then come up with some way to dispose of the current huge load of spent nuclear fuel (not making munitions out of them - duh, as an aside - we need to execute those who came up with THAT idea - criminals against humanity) ...

people around me either: live with blinders on and dont want to remove them, have no clue and dont pay attention (almost same as the first bunch), dont want to hear about it because it scares them, or dont want to hear about it because they feel helpless.
