Since early June I have been noticing a bright light in Eastern sky. I also see that it is coming closer, I mean it's been moving closer to our planet steadily. Any thoughts, anyone know if it is a planet, asteroid or some other anomaly?

Nah, Saturn is only about a half hour or so behind the Sun at the moment.

Early evening = poss Jupiter.
Early Morning (pre dawn) = poss Venus.

Jupiter and Venus are both in the morning sky. Jupiter comes up a few hours earlier than Venus. They were very close together earlier in the summer but are now moving farther and farther apart.

Venus at 03:00

Saturn sets (West) about 1 hour after Sun set.

Thanks! I only know because they are the first things I see when I awake in the morning. The eastern sky is beautiful around 5am. Venus, Jupiter, Orion, Pleiades and Sirus all together. *sigh*
