Well, that's your judgement, so easy to judge especially when people tend to forget that the prophets of deceit are many while prophets of Christ are rare to be found, and sweet things are made rotten while rotten things are made sweet. One should look at Christianity the same as the first will be last, always the hypocrites that grab the most attention but that might be just reflection.

So we should have just stuck with Judaism (the old testament Torah only), which Jesus was a student of? But Jesus makes us all special according to Christianity, not just the chosen ones. Is that a bad thing to you?

Me and Jesus are tight. Seriously. Most people only believe what they have been taught or read about him, they don't actually know him on a personal level.

Lets just say that Jesus has become disillusioned with the religion that claims to represent him, and who could blame him? Religion sucks!

It seems that, by that reckoning, J the B is Elijah, just with a different name, just as Jesus wasn't named Emmanuel...

The Jews denied that Jesus was the Messiah, so they denied that J the B was the harbinger...

Doesn't sound like a lie, just a description of the Jews' total denial of Christ, at that time...

No it is a good thing. Jesus was sick of those holding the knowledge of not teaching and living what they teach. The Jews taught "do as we say, not as we do" in OT into NT times. Corruption was everywhere, Jesus turning over the money changers tables was because they were using "usury" on the poor people.
