Sure there 's a certain amount of "detachedness" that does work though, and I agree with this. There is a point of course where men need to be logical. But if the women likes to fear, gets hot being fearful, that's something else.

I think that it's GREAT that you're exploring this part of your life. Kudos to you! Not many people get to this point where they want to work on themselves. The first step is to realize that women are not a homogenous bunch and there ARE women out there on your same level -- but the problem might be that you yourself aren't vibrating on that same level, YET. So how to get there? Work on loving yourself, work on developing independent interests and passions....once you are 100% satisfied with your life, then THAT is the time to look for someone. If you are 50% satisfied with your life, and looking for a woman to fill that lack, you won't find it. Because women are perceptive, and they can see that you are 50% satisfied, and that is what they are not attracted to..... they want to be with someone who is at peace with themselves and the world around them....not someone just looking for a warm body to fill their lack....

Another way women will do this is act like if I have no clue. They'll just look at me this way for NO reason at all, never having talked to me before, having just met, etc.

It's like a subtle trick. They will subtly act as if they disrespect you but in no extremely obvious manner. And if you don't react to it or address it in an equally subtle or obvious yet lighthearted/playful manner (and they're NOT bieng playful about it either) they'll just continue on with it but perhaps this time even more seriously and obviously.

Until it f*cking bugs the shit out of me and it's just too plain obvious.

So, today's my first day on a job. Let's hope none of these strange women want to do this to me, because I've seriously had opportunities ruined for me (school/job) because of this.
