I dont recall it being 'normal practise' to close threads of banned users just because they are banned. Who knows anymore though.

We will be attacked later today almost certainly with multiple threads bashing lop and members and mods here. THAT is what the Antarctican does. Those who constantly attack when there are abusive posts by them are not welcome. Simple

I appreciate your reasoning, but consider this. A lot of users invested in that thread and might need a chance for a little closure on their contributions. Or either to thank the OP for the ride or tar nd feather him as the case my be.

Whatever else, the thread was fun nd that's part do the mission statement right?

Not arguing for an unban, just keep the thread open long enough for people to vent it off in.
