And now endless whining about rainfall? Liberal nutjobs are simply whiny asses and will even whine and protest about the weather.

To the liberal mind, whining about EVERYTHING, ALWAYS, will change it for the better. Even weather. chuckle

Yes, the mean old weather is hurting the liberals "feelings" so they should form a protest mob. Jptdknpa

Maybe you can set up a "safe corner" for him so he doesnt have to get wet.

I am waiting for MSNBC to announce that the weather hates illegal voters so it is punishing California. chuckle

Half the people in California are illegal aliens. If you gotta Mexican name, you do not belong in this country. That is all there is to it. Send them all to the other side of the wall that Mexico is going to pay for OR ELSE!

WATCH! JUST WATCH! The nutcase liberals will not blame the rain in California on the horrendous global warming. But just last week they were blaming the drought on global Warming. Next, they will be blaming the Ice Storms on Global warming.

Liberals are so damn useless and they are stupider than sh*t. Everything is because of Global Warming, and yet, it is not warming at all.

There is a difference between decades of abundant rainfall that recharges aquifers and a season of high rainfall that mostly runs off into streams and then the ocean.

But California's biggest problem isn't available rainfall, it's poor water management.

Historically yes, or at least that's what the geologic record displays. But for the past couple thousand years it's been a high precipitation area on the west side of the Cascades.

Look at Big Sur or the Redwoods, those forests clearly show high precipitation patterns for at least the length of their lifespans.

There's enough water in Northern California to help out Southern California but they can't impound the runoff because of environmental restrictions.

So, the problem is really poor water management and over development.

And how many more houses have been built in So Cal since the water project in the late 70s.

It is not even management anymore. Too many people.... Just like Vegas. It is unsustainable.

RE: Years of hearing California whining about drought.
In most places, all the places I know, we can fill large tanks, bladders, etc with rainwater to use later in the dry season. We haven't gone nutty here quite yet. This is a slightly different kind of place.

We prayed for rain and it came, but we all forgot to say how much. It's not raining now, so the rivers will drop fairly quickly. I didn't hear rain in the night, so I'm sure they're down a lot already.
