Have a few that certainly do. Notice it most with materials forming a matrix (metamorphic rocks, wood, metal), but even paper can have something attached to it.

In the Time of Rage the mat and the throne of the righteous were buried,
and the Son of Evil called them "Sons of Laziness".
They would walk bowed and silent until their time
to take up the rulership,
and Wisdom alone
would be their mark.

The kitchen table legs hate my toes.

The outside patio table, under the sun, gives my legs stockings.

Anything that got matter and atoms are probably more alive than we can even imagine.

Yes.

Animal, Vegetable and Mineral are all alive.

We are taught that Minerals are non-living matter but it makes no sense that a dead planet (dead because it is Mineral) could be the origin and home of such an abundance of life-forms.

It follows that the planet Earth is itself a living organism.

Sadly it presently has a disease.

That disease is us.

But sturdy living organisms will always, sooner or later, recover from their diseases....

Consciousness is a product of the brain.

Inanimate objects lacks brains.

Therefore, inanimate objects lack consciousness.

"God sleeps in the rocks, stirs in the plants, dreams in the animals, and finally awakens in man." -- Vedic Quote
It is hard to beat the poetic truth of a good Vedic quote.

The question also arises, what next then?
If we are individuated sparks of divine consciousness, is our destiny to stay here, fouling the nest?

Or are we to fly free and leave the rocks, and plants, and animals to develop their consciousnesses into individuation and awareness of their divinity as well.

Consciousness is an ocean from a distance.
A wave from above.
Droplets from within.

Yeah, I know I'm utterly stupid and evil, but how can an object be inanimate when it's made out of atoms that have electrons in orbit around them?

It seems to be pretty animated to me.

I hunger, therefore, I live.

Not alive, but there is evidence they store emotions and feelings from living creatures that touch them. Might be some kind of magnetic field that they get attuned to that causes this effect?

This occurred to me. Whether it be toys, cars or whatever that is considered inanimate. I wonder if these things can have feelings and be considered alive, to an extent.

Not alive but they do have consciousness. Everything in creation has a consciousness because everything was created from consciousness. Difficult to wrap your head around that statement but it's true, especially if you call that consciousness God.

Everything is a form of energy vibrates at a certain speed. Tables and chairs, for instance, are molecules of energy that our 3rd dimensional minds can see. The same is true for rocks, trees, or nails. Everything vibrates at its own speed, including our bodies.

Inanimate, no. I think all living things have some sort of consciousness.

Everything has consciousness, alive or inanimate. If it's in creation, it has consciousness. Sometimes it might simply be consciousness.

Exactly, because consciousness creates matter.

Consciousness is a product of the brain.

Inanimate objects lacks brains.

Therefore, inanimate objects lack consciousness.

Whoa! Back up your logic train!

The first thing you have to realize is that your brain is organic and will die some day but your consciousness is pure energy and that never dies.

If your consciousness is the product of your brain as you say, then that's like saying the announcer lives inside your radio. You know the announcer's not inside your radio; his voice simply works through the radio. So consider that your consciousness works through your brain but is not your brain. (Your brain is the radio and your consciousness is the announcer.)

The only function of your brain is to keep your body running smoothly. Your brain controls your heart, lungs, blood, bones, nervous system, etc. If you don't think that's true, what happens when someone breaks their neck and is paralyzed from the neck down? Below their neck doesn't work anymore.

What your brain does not control are your thoughts and your consciousness, that pure energy that makes you you!

it IS* love that makes one real.

And I would rather daydream for eternity about a 'real' man who will defend me no matter what the cost in personal pride or reputation over any living man today who won't bother.

Why not be real and learn to defend yourself instead of wishing someone else would do it for you?

Ah, yes, consciousness in all things. Some call it the Creator God.
