Twins, brah! twins, by two fathers one woman. Jeesh! Baby-boomers with all their yayo-ing turned to mething, then disco biscuiting, all of the above and more, does it increase the Rate of Occurrence of Superfecundation??

Soooooo....gender isn't enough, color isn't enough, political ideology isn't enough, immigration isn't enough, abortion isn't enough, socio-economic status isn't enough
(on and on and on, ad nauseum). We now have to add generations into the mix? You just want to create a conflict; anywhere with anyone

Let's make it simple. Any person who can't get along and starts fights with any other person or group of people they don't know, gets walled off and isolated with their own troublesome, aggressive/ passive-aggressive kind. Let them sort it out. Survivors that somewhat learn to get along, can have a second chance.
One second chance, no more.

This is just crap.
(I could go off on a real lulu about millennials, but I won't.)

Hell, the baby boomers did the best they could what with constantly having to compete with the Mexicans and Chinese with lower and lower wages and now having to work until we literally drop dead.

Quite a few, maybe most boomers didn't drink the "kool aid", but there were and are plenty who bought into the "greed is good" and f--k the poor "ethos" of the reagan bush clinton eras. They bought the line of bs about globalization and they looked the other way while generations coming up behind and under them received vastly fewer protections and opportunities. When there was a choice they opted to enrich themselves at the expense of everyone else. Again this is just generalized analysis.

The poor or near poor in all generations outnumber the power players who set us all up.

Two examples.

Most people opposed nafta, yet it was forced down the throats of the public.

Bill Clinton only gained traction in his election when he promised a national health system like is enjoyed in most parts of the civilized world (which most people supported). Of course, he was lying and soon after he gave the issue to his wife who conspired with the usual suspects to squelch the idea entirely.

It must be noted however that most baby boomers were not hugely effected by this betrayal. The worst effects of both globalization and the health care racket were reserved to be suffered by the following generations.

The 80s (Reagan, Poppy Bush) were when the wheels really started coming off the bus. This is the root of the crapstorm we're in today.

Even as a dingbat 20 something and pretty well disengaged from media/ politics (I got my information from being in business- construction industry), it was disgusting and transparent. The worst of this group were my parents' age (early 40s), imho. "Big Religion" was an influence here, too- as it is today.
It's astonishing looking back on how far-reaching the consequences of this mindset was, just at the time. Rolling trainwreck, Day 1.
We reap what we sow.

There were definitely plenty that I remember growing wealthy and complacent, enriching themselves on the very policies that anyone with a handful of functioning brain cells knew would eventually cause tremendous suffering. Ignorance was rampant, fostered progressively by a complicit media and just enough people got rich to fund the wholesale takeover of both political parties, basically becoming the foxes guarding the henhouses.

You can count on one or two hands the number of politicians that resisted in any appreciable degree. It's an appalling disgrace really.

Tragically true. Their kids and grandkids suffered the most and the succeeding generations will suffer even more. It's now an endless cycle of focusing on oneself/ self indulgence and on those (politicians, "educators", parents, and peers who reinforce that self-centeredness by telling them what they want to hear and goading them even further.

It is. And it's reached insane levels. There are whole companies now- traditional, professional, national and some international, who treat their employees as if they're in kindergarten; complete with a form of recess and snacks.

Politics has become an industry in itself (Think about how huge this is- consultants, planners, assistants, caterers, couriers, etc) which only serves itself at the citizens expense. They're parasites. Nothing more. They're bleeding us white and they're always wanting more.
One day, the monster, whom they've created and driven completely mad, will rise up and devour them.

How is it not the case considering we have had star trek tech since the 60s but instead of using that we have been wasting our time with inferior tech that hardly lasts?

I've helped my Dad build many buildings and he has spent 40 years putting up wood frames on a concrete base, do you really not think he would have rather been putting up hempcrete houses that would last 1000 years instead of only 100 and therefore help that many more people instead of mostly 'helping'/feeding the system by building something that is way more expensive than it should be compared to what could be used?

It truly is sad how the baby boomers lives have been wasted so much in menial labour using tech that is stone age tech compared to what we could have been using.

The only salvation for the baby boomers wasting so much of their lives farming taxes for a system of slavery,

is admitting the truth.

.

Rofl Here's what the Bible says about YOUR generation. Pretty spot on.

2 Timothy Chapter 3:1-7

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

you are a little sh*t - I am sure your dad was helping build what was economically feasible to do so having enough customers that would actually buy his product and be able to do so.

how long you been self-employed op?

problem though as I see it - is that we ALL are living in a system that was put in place and finely tuned by self-centered individuals a long time ago - people around during the iron age on thru to industrial revolution to those living today have become a part of it- some join the system willingly and some have been suckered into being a part of that system -

not many are able to buck it completely - there are very few -

are you one of the few op?

"Greed is good" wasn't from the boomer generation. That was the entitleed generation who thought they could simply live of the fat created by the boomers, with no real effort from themselves. Much like the current generation.
