What if we could change our own reality with ease. Not effecting the rest of the world just our version of it and the way we sense it.

Sort of like A Dr. Strange sense of changing reality.

Then your shitty life and constant complaints are even more annoying to hear about.

Every fuckwit who makes claims like this lives a trainwreck of a life because being detached from reality leads to trainwrecks.

RE: If you could change your own reality with ease
I already can.

This morning I went on a brief hike, saw a terrapin, and a lot of tadpoles, smelled the honeysuckle....

On the way to the car, the cigarette gave me a nice buzz, and on the way to the library I was back in "adventure mode."

Like I was 19 again.

I highly recommend morning walks and bike rides.

Moving through 3-D space counteracts the "time warp" effect of screen time.

If you do it every day, you'll notice better dreams, and that the year goes by much more slowly.

Do it in the woods or at least away from cell towers and powerlines.

Take new routes every time until you run out of places to go.

Then rotate them.

Take responsibility. Do things like looking for a new job. Stop WHINING. Change your diet, and as already said, go for walks. Find a hobby..
.and on, and on, and on...

What happens to you in your life is under your control. Magic is not going to change it for you.

^ Good post.

I started a PT program about 2 years ago, and kept it going about 6 months of intensive exercise.

Got up to 1000 reps of calisthenics and light weights every other day with a 6 mile "big hill" bike ride on off days.

Before that I started a physical therapy regimen (like around January or February) that just consisted of walks in the woods and some flat trail bike rides. And leisurely swimming.

At first I had the symptoms of fybromyalgia, so I had to walk that off first.

chuckle

That year was the best year in the last decade. It went by REAL SLOWLY, compared to the eight years before that flew by in the blink of an eye.

But in late November of that year when it got cold, I didn't want to ruin the holidays(for my family) by having a heart attack from the Polar Bear Plunge, (I was swimming alone in an unheated pool)....

I quit exercising and took up the bottle.

chuckle

Been drinking almost every other day for a year and a half now.

It helps with EHS(electromagnetic Hypersensitivity) but it ruins sleep and productivity because of hangover days. A 15 minute swim fixes EHS problems, but I was wussy about it this yer until the pool warmed up.

So I'm tapering that off now(the drinking), going back on the exercise program.

And the best news is:

I RETAINED most of the gains I made 2 years ago. Even though I was drinking.

Hiked up a hill this morning, no huffing and puffing, no joint pain, it was easy peasy.

Couldn't say that before last time I went "Rocky."

chuckle

My wife and I have started walking in the evenings. We live close to the city park so we walk up the hill to the park and back...it's a pretty decent walk. I need to drop some weight. Sitting on my ass in front of a computer all day for work has put some unwanted poundage on.

Once you pass the last house, it's like a walk in Sherwood Forest as you get into the park. It's amazing how the sound of the creek and the smell of the trees, bushes and flowers can change your attitude.
