I did a search on YouTube using the criteria "June 22 2013" and couldn't find a single vid mentioning doom. This is odd to me because every other past doom date on YouTube has had many many videos when just searching the date. Is YouTube trying to keep it as hush-hush as they can?

The previously undocumented cityscape, called Mahendraparvata, is hidden beneath a dense forest on the holy mountain Phnom Kulen, which means "Mountain of the Lychees."

The cityscape came into clear view, along with a vast expanse of ancient urban spaces that made up Greater Angkor, the large area where one of the largest religious monuments ever constructed — Angkor Wat, meaning "temple city" — was built between A.D. 1113 and 1150.

List of Guantanamo prisoners

Thanks to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by the Miami Herald's Carol Rosenberg, the U.S. Department of Justice today released—with certain classified omissions—a list of its Guantanamo Bay detainees and their formerly shrouded detention statuses. The Herald reports that included on the list are 48 so-called "indefinite detainees," Guantanamo captives who remain imprisoned but ineligible for trial or transfer "pursuant to the Authorization for Use of Military Force (2001)."

Some Gitmo prisoners, including some indefinite detainees, are now in their third month of hunger striking to protest their captivity. As of Friday the strike had grown to include 104 of the jail's 166 prisoners, according to the Associated Press.

"Rand Paul announced on Monday that he'd be launching a civil suit against the NSA. What did that mean? We get the answer today: An online form that adds your name to Paul's list, and a suggestion that you chip in to publicize it.

"With your support, I'll immediately begin mobilizing Americans from all over the country to this fight," writes Paul in a fundraising email (which I got syndicated by a conservative news site). "But to do that, I'll have to pull out all the stops—and not just with email, Internet ads and social networking. I'll have to use mail, phones and perhaps even radio and TV to get my message out, as well."

Can it be that simple? No, it can't. As Alex Seitz-Wald wrote this week, the burden for anyone trying to sue the government over spying—legal spying, remember—is staggering. To win, people need to prove their communications were intercepted and this caused them harm. But the government has classified the key information about what's being intercepted. Paul's had some success shaming the administration into providing more statements about what it's up to, but not into declassifying more facts.

Mystery Substance Prompts Closure Of Indiana Beach

Ontario's new Premier, Kathleen Wynne, is proposing a welfare reform, and part of her plan is to cut ODSP - the Ontario disability support program, and scale back the income of anyone supported by the program to about $600/month. People with disabilities can go through periods where they are unable to work at all, they could be unable to work full time, or they could be permanently unable to work. Could you pay rent and live off of $600 a month? All I can see coming from cutting the income of people with disabilities is homelessness and death. We need to let Wynne know that we won't let this happen, but first we need to raise awareness of this issue. PLEASE share this status/photo with your friends. Share as widely as you can - let's go viral for people with disabilities, with and without voices. I am a person with a disability - here is my voice.

The second building block would be a disability supplement that you would receive on top of the standard rate if you are a person with a disability. Initially, the supplement would bring your income up to the current ODSP rate.
This recognizes the higher living costs associated with living with a disability and the barriers to employment that people with disabilities face

accordingly to the above pdf there are differenty types of disability and they speak of going back to work as though everyone on dis ability can work...Because i am dis ABLED i can not work and maintain employment. I can not afford to live on my own so i moved in with my cousin and according to this we will have a combined reduction in our check of 28% because they think we are saving money by living together which is a lie. We both pay for our own bills and food and costs there is no savings being made. THIS IS UTTER MADNESS if we both get a combined amount of 1200 a month and get deducted 28% we will be forced to have a combined total of 864 and our rent is 850 a month plus hydro...let alone eating or phone or bills. And this is the cheapest rent we could find... So we will have 7 dollars each a month to pay hydro groceries laundry ect ect... what is that? 23 cents a day to live on

my last place rent was 650 for a 1 bedroom and my land lord raised the rent so i left.

cost of living is exponentially getting worse day in day out. Yesterday i wanted to take my friend Michael out for a burger and a poutine and when i got to shooters and asked how much for two cheese burgers and two poutines she said $39.75. I try to eat at the soup kitchen when i can to make it through each month. But its just a small amount of food. Groceries are going through the roof every month its another 15% more compounded bill for the same amount of crap food that i got the month before. My bills take up the rest of the money. EVERY DAY MONEY IS WORTH LESS. SO what is the solution?
