She was a trailer trash slag who became a meme and is now the living embodiment that crime pays.

She's a f*cking lottery ticket with tits and corn rows.

She's changed her life for the better in a very short period of time. She's now famous for doing something positive, and she obviously has a bright future.

You want to judge her what she did before when she's turned her life around? I bet she's more mature than you.

She did nothing to turn her life around. She was a meme who hit the jackpot thanks to a DJ. The DJ put in the effort, not her, but now she's reaping the rewards. This planet lately is aligned the reward the moron rather than the intelligent and talented. Which is why there is a decline in the sales of books, movies, music and every creative field.

It's all about lowering the overall IQ in everyone by promoting the dumbest of the dumb.

She actually has a very positive message. She has to speak to her target audience. I have no problem with the communication style. It is rap music after all.

I feel a generation gap hitting this thread. chuckle

Nothing good ever comes from rap music. It has been around long enough now to have a track record evident of encouraging barely sentient fu cktards to poison youth.

If you actually live in a shithole Respectable , carry on as normal. You own those beats.

Rap has been promoted for 40 years now. There is no generation gap. Only those who are aware of how culturally toxic popular music including rap has been. Especially to the young and especially to the black community.

I'm shocked by the comments to the following music video.

I'm shocked that this song is popular. I'm also shocked that something so bad was actually made.

"The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors. He who reads nothing will still learn the great facts, and the details are all false." ~Thomas Jefferson

She didn't even try to turn it into an opportunity at first, she tried to sue him. And she was a meme because at 13-14 her English was so shitty she couldn't even articulate words at a kindergarten level.

This is what the elites wish to encourage in people. The see Idiocracy as a utopia over which they can rule.

That's a fact, but it's not new. There is a deep meaning here...

You correctly stated that "teens" are a modern invention.

But you didn't say that before "teens" were invented kids that age began working 6 days a week at 10-13 and never had the leisure time to be rebellious or dramatic.

I started working at 15 (actually 8yo) and I loved it! I think a lot more kids would love it. But unfortunately their Moms have taken the kids potential jobs.

The most ironic thing about all this in my view is that Bhad Bhabie is actually being very mature and responsible for her age. She co-wrote this song we're discussing, and the song is actually about how different she is compared with those other girls whom she has no respect for because they're immature, irresponsible, and immoral. She's saying she's better than them because she's not like them.

We can see that's true because she's already a famous musician at 14.

It's kind of ironic that she is a great success, but people are bashing her for singing about the "wrong" things (and thus calling her a "failure"). I have no problem with her singing about the reality that she knows.

An important fuction of art is to raise awareness of what's right and wrong with the world. The fact that she's caused this discussion proves that she's a good artist.

Cool. Truthfully I didn't watch the vid, not my thing. But I applaud her initiative.

RE: Why do people forget what it's like to be a teen?
Here's what I find fascinating about this...

Bhad Bhabie is speaking out against all the stuff she's talking about in "These Heaux."

She is not glorifying any of the bad behavior.

Somehow people are criticizing her for speaking out about the awful things that she sees around her.

Forget about the method of communication. She needs to communicate like that to reach her target audience.

The bottom line is that Bhad Bhabie is against the things she's talking about in "These Heaux" while those who are opposed to her speaking out actually support her message in the song.

It's like people are just saying, "I don't want to hear it." They don't want to know about the reality that Bhad Bhabie sees. They seem to be against her speaking out against it. They don't care about what's happening.

Should we be surprised?

People don't want to hear about the deterioration of society at any level. They would rather shoot the messenger even if the messenger is a 14-year-old girl.

Pathetic beyond belief!

Stop being superficial. You're criticizing the method of communication, and that's irrelevant.

The method of communication is appropriate for the target market. You can't reach them without speaking their language.

The message is positive, and that's what matters. People can't see that because they're too superficial.

I'm shocked by the comments to the following music video. A lot of people are shocked by the song because it features a 14-year-old girl talking explicitly about sex. That doesn't shock me because I remember what it was like to be that age. Everyone that I knew was looking at hardcore porn by then. We used to trade it and talk about it at school.

That was over 20 years ago, and American society has degraded a lot since then.

What I don't understand is where the people who are criticizing the vulgarity and subject matter of this artist are coming from. Were they ever a teen? I find unbelievable that they can't relate to this based on their own experience.

I think they've intentionally "forgotten" what it was like to be a teen because they want to pretend that being wild as a teen isn't normal. That way they can preach to their young relatives about how they should behave better. Lying like that doesn't help anyone.

In the name of all that is decent, that music just stinks. Talentless noise pollution.

OP "must" be in their 30s or younger. Must! Something happened to people (conditioning-brainwashing-wise) to those under forty for some reason. I can't be the only one to see it.

I'm the original poster. I was a teen back in 1991 when this was played regularly on MTV. Where were you? Obviously, you were in out of touch land.

The big difference is that this glorifies evil behavior while Bhad Bhabie is speaking out against it.

The message is not positive. The message is a retard can be successful for acting like an idiot. In reality the ONLY reason she's famous is because of her tits. And you are a clown advertising for the trick
