Is that even a real question?lol

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AmigaOS

Are we still talking about 1985 here?

From the link, and yes, 1985.

"AmigaOS is a single-user operating system based on a preemptive multitasking kernel, called Exec. It includes an abstraction of the Amiga's hardware, a disk operating system called AmigaDOS, a windowing system API called Intuition and a desktop file manager called Workbench. "

The 4000t had a floppy as well,

Why do you think a floppy drive hinders multi tasking? You seem to think I'm trying to pull something here.

Alright... I'll back off. The first pic you posted made me look it up. But I will ask... who the heck was multitasking on a computer in 1985?

The only multitasking that I need in the mid 80's was taking one floppy out and putting another floppy in.

Work on code, dial the bbs up, play worms, ect while rendering 3d images, morphing photos or other things that would take forever. These computers were used for 3d animation and special effects back then. IDK how IBM became the standard.

When i left school in 1981 the only working computer in a school of 1500 was in the main office chuckle i used to look at it and wonder what it did they had a old room that everyone got to see in the same corridor that housed one from the 50-60s that was about 20x20 ft and took up the whole room .

Unlike many Microsoft products, Windows 3.1 was well architected, designed, and implemented. It formed the foundation for the success of the IBM PC series.

Xerox Word Processor 750; then... Xerox Word Processor 850.
