It took all of 15 minutes for this to get turned into something about the current political administration. New record?
Any opportunity is a good one, yeah?
It's how trumpo got in, why else would a man who tweeted over and over calling for Obama to release his college transcripts had his "Fixer" Mike Cohen threaten the high school and college if they released trumpo's
So KINDLY go f*#k YOURSELF

Only Asians are allowed to cheat their way into our systems?
Actually the Asians have a lawsuite against Harvard for being looked over. That said Chinese spies abound in the universities. The MIT campus looks like china town.
Affirmative action lawsuit against Harvard in judge's hands
"In deciding the case, a federal judge will have to weigh complex and competing statistical evidence presented by both sides."

"BOSTON — A federal judge will now decide whether Harvard University intentionally discriminates against Asian-American applicants, an allegation made in a 2014 lawsuit that was debated in a final round of arguments Wednesday.
Lawyers for both sides clashed at Boston's federal courthouse, largely recapping cases they made during a trial that ended in November. The case will be decided by U.S. District Judge Allison D. Burroughs, although any ruling is expected to be appealed.
The case carries implications for other U.S. schools that consider race in admissions decisions as a way to bring a diverse mix of students to campus. It has added fuel to a national debate about whether and how race should influence admissions."

"Beginning in or about 2011, and continuing through the present, the defendants -- principally individuals whose high-school age children were applying to college -- conspired with others to use bribery and other forms of fraud to facilitate their children's admission to colleges and universities in the District of Massachusetts and elsewhere, including Yale University, Stanford University, the University of Texas, the University of Southern California, and the University of Southern California -- Los Angeles," the indictment said.
The thing that pisses me off. These Hollywood types lead the charge for allowing free college for illegals, while the middle class spend their lives working their asses off to pay to send their children to college. If they can afford it at all!

Definitely one of the highlights of Cohen’s testimony..with the letters as back-up and then confirmation from one of the colleges..

Cool yer Jets, Isabella. I was simply making a point about how easily any given thread evolves into a political thread these days given enough time. It wasn't an attack on you, personally (or generally).
I stand corrected..
Today's indictments are a good start and the tip of the ice-berg on exposing just one way money buys admittance to universities without having a Legend connection to a university or any personal connections.
Yup. Nobody can convince me that Bush Jr was admitted to Harvard without connections and pull. Be it monetary or otherwise. Same principal.

Actress Lori Loughlin: Balancing Family, Faith, and Career
Snips:
Scott: There’s something I want to talk about because you’re in an industry that crosses the line morally, ethically, in so many ways. And, as I understand it, you’re a person of faith?
Lori: I do believe in God. I was raised Catholic.
Scott: Six episodes turned into seven years. What made the show so successful?
Lori: Well, a couple things, I think. It was a cute show, and it was funny. I think the cast genuinely, we have a real love for each other, and we do till this day. And because the morals are right, there’s a message to –in every episode, you know, how to be a good person, how to be a better person, right from wrong. It’s a good message.
Scott: Okay, how does that affect your choices in what you do?
Lori: For me personally, I was always very thoughtful about projects that I chose for myself. I would say to myself, “Can my father watch this?” If my father couldn’t watch it, I didn’t do it. And then when I had children … I always thought, I don’t want to do anything that one day might rear its ugly head and my children have to pay the price for that."
Scott: Do you have any sense it’s going to last seven years?
Lori: Oh my goodness, well, from your lips to God’s ears, as they say. But um, [Scott: Would you want that?] I really do love this show. I think that this show has –I think it’s a great family show. I think its heart is in the right place.
Scott: What’s the essence of it?
Lori: The essence of it is faith. It’s morals, it’s community.
