"Lori Loughlin Free After Paying $1 million In Bail Money"
By Jordan Crucchiola
@jorcru

"In the case of Loughlin and her husband, prosecutors allege that the couple paid $500,000 to an “admissions consultant” named William Rick Singer who helped to fraudulently present their daughters as crew-team recruits for the University of Southern California. Neither of them, in fact, row."

"According to TMZ, Loughlin’s daughter Olivia Jade — who did get into USC and is currently a student there — is currently spending her spring break in the Bahamas with the Chairman of university’s Board of Trustees, as she is a long-time friend of his daughter."

RE: No Conscience
"College Bribery Scandal Triggers Scores of Nervous, Rich Parents "

Snips:

"The 50 people who were indicted for allegedly paying bribe money to get their kids into college may just be the tip of the iceberg, and scores of very nervous and very rich parents are calling around L.A. trying to get recon.

Sources familiar with the case tell TMZ, FBI agents have seized numerous cell phones and other evidence they believe will lead them to other parents, college employees and others who might have participated in admissions bribery.

We know a number of wealthy parents from some of the most exclusive private schools in L.A. were calling around Tuesday, asking if Rick Singer, the ringleader who just copped a plea, kept lists of clients. As one source put it, "These parents are sweating bullets."

Snip:

"As for what USC will do with the students whose parents got them into the school via bribery, well-connected sources tell us the students will not all be evaluated the same way. We're told if the students knew they were admitted because of bribes, they will be expelled. If they were in the dark, the University will evaluate all of the circumstances and the decisions will be student-specific.

And, one final thing, as for USC ... we know officials are furious at the parents who engaged in bribery. They say it has tarnished the school, the students and the athletic programs. "

Think Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman are the only elites to lie, cheat and steal? Of course not. They all did. Right now thousands of self-serving, unrighteous elites are terrified. The energy of this universe is shifting.

The daughter just got the boot too.

"After careful review of recent developments, we have made the decision to end the Sephora Collection partnership with Olivia Jade, effective immediately," the statement from the company said.

What federal law(s) specifically, are these people being accused of violating?

Are the people accepting the bribes being charged?

Have they bribed public officials?

If I slip a swimming instructor $100 to get my kid into the already full July class, have I violated the law?

Just curious. Certainly not defending the bribery.

That's a good question. I don't know if this is the case, but sometimes the law is written to punish conspiracy to do something as much if not more than actually doing it....

The bribes went to a "charity" allegedly,,, so for starters what do people
do after they "donate" to a "charity"?

Do they deduct the "donation" from their taxes?

That would be the tip of the iceberg and the rest will start to come out
in the wash soon. But if the universities had just made it clear that admission is based on a combination of test-scores, donations, and
parents' status, then it would be above board, but we know that no
university admits that it's just a matter of bribing officials.

Those endowments are starting look murky...

Wow! But good for them.
All of her religious claims in interviews just adds insult to injury.

"We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations," the statement read. "We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin, including 'Garage Sale Mysteries,' an independent third-party production."

Once there he had to carry the academic work load and this part of Harvard admission policy obviously played a very important role.

Criteria

How important are extracurricular activities in admissions decisions?

"Each case is different. Some students distinguish themselves for admission with their unusual academic promise through experience or achievements in study or research. Other students present compelling cases because they are more “well-rounded,” having contributed in many different ways to their schools or communities. Still other successful applicants are “well-lopsided” with demonstrated excellence in one particular endeavor. Some students bring perspectives formed by unusual personal circumstances or experiences. Like many colleges, we seek to admit dynamic, talented, and diverse students who will contribute significantly to the education of their classmates."

RE: No Conscience
All Lori needs is one juror who lives vicariously through her Hallmark's Aunt Becky character to set her free..Rofl

Lori and hubby were just hit with money laundering charges today in addition to whatever their original charges were.

Lori Loughlin Has Reportedly Been Offered A Plea Deal That Will Require A Minimum Of Two Years In Prison
Kimberly Ricci 04.09.19

"Loughlin and Giannulli allegedly paid at least $500,000 to bribe their two daughters’s way into USC. Owing to that exorbitant amount, they’re obviously staring down a more ominous road than Huffman, whose much smaller payout has led only to a guilty plea for mail fraud. This will reportedly land her in prison but for only about 4 months, say TMZ’s sources.

That’s not ideal, but it’s a much more attractive prospect than more than two years, which might be long enough for Loughlin and her husband to gamble with going to trial. However, if these two wait much longer, the indictments could land with a federal grand jury, which might add more white collar crime charges to the bill (including money laundering UPDATE — as of 2:15pm EST, that charge is now officially on the books, via the Associated Press), and then some serious prison time could happen".
