The first two were the best agreed. No life in the modern prequels. But the order is important. Once you know all dialogue will be dubbed by a bigger fish with more presence, breaking character becomes the valor. David Prowse knew this, lucky guy, shop posting over all derivative fan properties.

I had to look that up. I'm not sure I am catching all the intended humor with that, but, that's some funny sh*t anyway.

I took all the neighbourhood children to see those first two Star Wars movies about a million times. Well, a lot of times, anyway.

You couldn't wait to indoctrinate them?

It's also a little known fact the old George stole the idea for Star Wars from Joan Holloway on an all night cock binge. She spilled the seeds of her ideas right into curious Georges hands..

It was the arrival of the UFO into mass consciousness. Although Britain was where the game started, it will not hold the torch forever, as the story extends much, much farther. Of course, for me the best of the lot is Phantom Menace, including the wide shots of Seville/Naboo/Tarshish. Now that's what I call an epic story.

They will find many armies to test them, but none to resist.
They will come in their shining ships to conquer and destroy,
Barbarians of gold and feathers and serpents of fire.

The First two where the best agreed?

The reason for that is that they were made in England in the mid 70's by gobby, unionised, Geezers who kept telling George lucas to f*#k of and mind his own buisness while they made the movie. They'd all worked on 2001, space 1999, UFO and Dr Who etc etc// so weren't going to told their job by some yank incel.

That's why all the other movies are sh*t.

yeah, yeah. all those old english sods could really do is blow up their little clay models. cheap sci fi with crappy effects. the real effects were produced at plan 9 studios and made in outer space. it doesn't get more real than that. that's why there's so much debris in the atmosphere. those aren't broken up satellites. that was georges set pieces blown to smithereens right out there beyond the atmosphere. the death star was the hardest. that one had to be shot at the dark side of the moon cuz everybody would have seen a trailer before teh movie was released. its all really about the marketing anyways. the toy concession was the big enchilada that was missed by the century fox.

Quite a few 'Hollywood' franchises are made at Pinewood. My Dad was the George Galloway of Carpenters. He could out debate anyone and make them look a real fool in front of other people. He never worked on Dr Who as far as I'm aware.

movies by George Lucas better than new stuff

I actually liked the prequels ... the new stuff tries to be taken seriously

lucas SW films don't take themselves so seriously, a lot of silly stuff

its the silly stuff I actually like

also he favored making the settings beautiful rather than realistic

I really prefer that
