A pure hearted person doesn't think about evil people prospering, they just live their life.

The story of Job says otherwise. Job questioned why he should be flat on his back, covered with boils, and lost everything of value that he had, including his wife and kids.

He had been a wealthy man who helped the poor of the town while the rich turned their backs on them. So why was he suffering such loss and such a painful illness? He had a little talk with God, and God had a little talk with him, then God restored everything he'd lost and then some.

There is a saying that no good deed goes unpunished. Satan will see to that.

I don't read nonsense.

And if you agree with Op without any examples of what he or she considers to be the "evil people"...then you aren't 'pure' either

Serenity Prayer essentially the same idea. "Accept the things you cannot change!" etc.

Hang in there. It's always darkest just before the dawn. Been there, done that. Don't lose faith.

Thank you...im trying so hard to hang on. Eighteen years of absolutely horrific physical pain,no disbility benefits or pain meds, no family, local friends... I'm a devout Christ follower, even had a vision of Jesus once years ago, about the time my illness began....I spend what little money I have I rescuing homeless animals people dump...i live a clean, simple life and try to be grateful for the little things in life...when i wake up every morning I feel like death, so I sit in bed a while til I can start moving and watch the birds outside my window...what hurts me most, tho, is the horrible way people treat each other, even family....my jeep needs hauled out of the mud, asked several neighbors for help...nobody cares....my own daughter is one of them. Since she left and betrayed me last year, I've grieved.i worked hard to teach my now adult kids to help even their enemies if they are needing something, homeschooled them from my sick bed , loved them with every ounce of my being, and this is what I get. I had no car at all for an entire year,I'm miles from anything,no cabs, buses, uber out here...nobody cared. I'vebeen single ten years, this is why I don't even date...people suck...my dogs have given me more love than any so called human. The nasty remarks on my thread here are a perfect example of what most people are these days. I'll welcome death when it arrives, as long as mypets are in the afterlife too. Im so tired physically, emotionally. Don't even recall the last time i felt anything except some form of pain.

RE: In desperate need of prayer
this thread reminds me of one i made years ago on this forum, things were so bad that i couldn't imagine them getting worse.... but then they did. and i survived. you'll be ok op, even if it doesn't seem like you will, you will.

maybe you can find some way to get support, either your family noticing you need help(and caring) or maybe you can get government assistance and that'll cover a caretaker, but you'll be ok. Fhug

I sincerely hope your callousness and heartlessness return to you time and time again. A trash can has more soul than you do.what a pitiful excuse for a human being you are.
