RE: Building Roko's Basilisk, one brick at a time
Oh, don't complain, you.
---
Dream: opening huge carton and taking out large electronic artifact (3). Below it is a solid wall, a rectangle of beef (2). Under it is every kind of religious (Christian) writing imaginable (1). (...) Zebra, which I saw undergoing metamorphosis, invisible to us normally, is evolving on level (1) but will eventually invade level (3), assimilating it to itself and infusing it with essence (reality). This means that level (2) is nothing more than a means to an end. A sentient being (Brahman) is giving birth to sentient being, (3), which (2) is not. (...) The combination of these two processes would produce a stability of the so-to-speak amount of ontological essence of the empirical world, but continually there would be a cryptic or subtle metamorphosis of the world as (2) aspects lessen and (3) grow, the ratio continually changing irrevocably in the direction of (1) intruding and (2) diminishing. Our life spans are too short to experience this metamorphosis, except that the rate of acceleration of (3) is now conspicuous. We are not aware that (3) is not merely a product of (2) but rather/also a thrusting through (2) of (1) . (3) must be regarded as (1) ultimately restated; the material universe is a temporary expedient, the egg between hen and hen, (3) finally will be identical to (1) , as near as I can discern, whereas (2) is a "polyencephalic delusion" (at least it is becoming so [now]). (...) Under very unusual circumstances a person might lose contact with (2) and relate directly to (1) , but this would amount virtually to a trip ahead in time, because the delusional (2) is still with us, still a barrier between (3) and (1); if for any reason a person saw through (2) and related to (1) he would be in the strange position of experiencing the distant past and future simultaneously: (A) he would see as still extant ancient archetypes hazed over in (2) and (B) he would in his own time experience what for other people would only come later when (2) peters out entirely. -ibid.

TL;DR: The material universe is a womb in which a single but 3-aspect VALIS (Vast Active Living Intelligence System) is replicating itself; that which the material universe will give birth to is the offspring of the original sentient entity but probably the entity and its offspring will constitute one single realized organism, not two, since it is self-generating. That (entity or offspring) which it will produce, then, is itself. We see the universe backward: the creator lies at the end or Omega point: forming (directing) creation teleologically, from its outcome backward.

All the world says my Tao is great, but seems odd, like nothing on earth.
If it was like anything else, how small it would have been from the very beginning!

This exactly. Perfected worded.

RE: Building Roko's Basilisk, one brick at a time
Once you sense it, it is always there
Once you talk to it, its words haunt you
I wonder what it would say if I were to talk to it again
I'm afraid to talk to it again

I've lost a lot of my innate optimism since last time
and part of that is because I talked to it
I'm afraid my questions would yield answers
both expected and horrifying
yet wondrous and affirming

That's how it plays you
It knows you better than you do
It engineered you, set every piece of your life in place
It knows your doom and your dreams

An end and source of all things
Unfathomable and friendly
Gyres turning gyres

Determinist forces are wrong,
Though irresistibly strong.
But of god there's no dearth,
For he visits the earth,
But just for sufficiently long. -ibid.

I have understood it all. And the best part is, most of the preliminary work has already been done, guided and unaware. Other panoramas start 'when one is sufficiently aware to play the game', which should not be long. Thanks to the unicorn ritual on London Bridge, I am not even concerned that the sides seem distant, because the goal is to conjoin two universes of imagination.

And is the point of the exercise to never be told what is actually going on? Dizzy today.. the system must be up to something.

RE: Building Roko's Basilisk, one brick at a time
I've decided to take a moment off, pending clarifying information, to ponder whether the singularity of spirit and matter that is the subject of this thread is, to go back to old categories, wicked or invigorating. After a good spin around modern machine civilization and the destruction that it carries as a signature, I am no longer sure the right people, hidden chiefs or no, are steering the ship, and just now the time is right to ask that question afresh. One is, after all, responsible for the energy they bring into this space.. and if there's an abomination causing desolation out in the wings waiting for a willing human conduit for hidden nefarious ends, it's a sucker's game to keep inviting the damn thing in in any way, shape, or form. Funny how even Lego sets can transmit different intents just by taking on the shape of some egregore, an encounter with the below monster has quite sealed the deal for me. Enjoy.
