why waste your time watching this garbage
First 6 1/2 seasons were great.
1/2 of Season seven and all of season 8 are awful.
Writers got lazy and instantly teleported people around the planet.

Yeah ... Kings Landing and WinterFell are like 1200 miles away from each other.
And THE WALL is another 300 or so North of that.
(from what I've read).
But the characters get around instantly .. and so do the ravens.

When Jon Snow and everyone were stuck north of the wall, Castle Black sent a raven to Daenerys at Storms End (1500 miles away) to come with dragons to rescue them. The birds must have flown at MACH1 because they got to storms end and the dragons flew up all in one night.

I know it's fantasy and fantasy doesn't make sense, but comeon ....

RE: Game of Thrones Season 8 Discussion
I used to like it because it was unpredictable in the plot twists and there was no "good vs evil", no black and white
seems that has changed? wut?

I've never watched it, all I know about it is from this guy's reviews.

I'm just going to say it ... pretty damn sucky writing.
6 Episodes of mostly garbage. I could have done a better job.

The heroes sitting around the fireplace and talking before the battle. Good stuff.
Sansa and Tyrion reunion. Good stuff.

BUT ...

The entire Battle of Winterfell was too damn dark.
I get having the Dothraki in the dark for the flaming swords, but afterwards ... comeon ...

it was dark because it was nigh time.

Duh!!!

maybe use your imagination more instead of being spoonfed.
season 8 is f*cking AWESOME.

Ok, so honestly? It's just a TV show, everything on earth is going to sh*t, why shouldn't GoT be too?

I have been an avid fan of the show but after the big wait between seasons 7 and 8 I just want it to be over, wrap it up so I can move on with my life D&D, I'm ready for something new.

Season 8 sucks. SUCKS.

And yes it was dark because it was night time. DUH. We aren't f*cking idiots.

BUT there are ways in which you can have night time shots AND still be able to see what the hell the actors are doing. But it wasn't shot correctly so half the show was missing. The majority of people who saw the episode agree. The complaints are everywhere.

Night shots .. fine. But do it right.
