After the Russian MOD said only 2 people were killed in the explosion at a test site in Severodvinsk. Rosatom says 5 of its employees died in the incident. Rosatom is a State Atomic Energy Corporation

This quite an admission for them.

Could mean there is something worse they are not telling us.

If immigrants are freeloaders why does ICE always raid workplaces?

Just saw that on the BBC and it says they were working on "isotope power source".

RE: Did Russia just have a serious nuclear accident?
Experimental ‘isotope & liquid-propellant’ engine blast kills 5 Russian nuclear experts – Rosatom

Five staff of Russia’s nuclear corporation Rosatom were killed and three suffered serious burns in the blast during a test of a liquid-propellant engine that resulted in a brief spike of radiation around the military testing site.

The Rosatom engineering and technical team was working on the ”isotope power source" for a propulsion system on Thursday, when the accident happened. The blast resulted in a background radiation spike, which quickly returned back to normal.

“As a result of the accident at the military firing range in Arkhangelsk region during liquid reactive propulsion system tests, five employees of the state corporation Rosatom were killed,” the company said. Three military and civilian specialists remain in serious condition, but their injuries are “not life-threatening,” a source in the regional emergency services said.

A hazmat team was checking the medical evacuation helicopter and its patients after it evacuated injured personnel from the explosion at a military site in Severodvinsk today, a short spike in background radiation was reported after the incident

The secrecy around the failed military test and initial tight-lipped statements by the Defense Ministry immediately triggered multiple conspiracy theories about authorities trying to conceal nothing less than a Chernobyl-scale incident.

A video of hazmat-suited specialists taking measurements on the helicopter that airlifted the burn victims only added fuel to rumors, even though the medical personnel was clearly visible unloading the injured without any additional precautions.

If it happens, it is seen.
We just won't get the facts about it for a long time.

RE: Did Russia just have a serious nuclear accident?
I watched a video of it. I put it on quarter speed to watch because the first time I noticed that there is another flash before the explosion.
In slowing it down I realized that the reason the camera is pointing over there filming is because a huge fire must be in progress considering the smoke. The filming is to the right of where the explosion occurred. As the person is filming the smoke and trying I guess to zoom or frame in, then here is a bolt of I can only describe as pink lightening or something coming down in the midst of the smoke and as soon as THAT happens is when then a bigger flash occurs exploding back upwards a pretty good distance to the left of the pinkish "lightening".

Is there any discussion on this thread as to the fire or why there is so much smoke that the person is filming or why were they filming?

@realDonaldTrump
The United States is learning much from the failed missile explosion in Russia. We have similar, though more advanced, technology. The Russian “Skyfall” explosion has people worried about the air around the facility, and far beyond. Not good!

Like i said a few posts ago it will take about 4-5 days to learn the truth.

Russia recommends villagers leave area of accident as radiation levels spike

Russia's state weather service says radiation levels have risen by up to 16 times since last week after an explosion during a rocket engine test; Russia's state nuclear agency said 5 of its workers were killed in the blast

snip:

"We have received a notification...about the planned activities of the military authorities. In this regard, residents of Nyonoksa were asked to leave the territory of the village from August 14," authorities in Severodvinsk were quoted as saying.

The medics sent to Moscow have signed an agreement promising not to divulge information about the incident, TASS cited the source as saying.

"No danger to public or environment" for that long?
By then..anyone in the area wil need medical attention, if they live.
Just look at the enormous amounts of new rare cancers and diseases are popping in the usa since fuku.
