250k a year is not rich, it may be well off but not rich by any means today! 30 years ago that would have been wealthy, but today you are just well off!

what do you consider middle class now in salary?

If you make $250k or more you are literally in the top 1% of wage earners in the USA.

That's not bias, that's statistics.

*That same 1% owns more than 40% of the wealth in the USA.

250k a year is not rich by any means, I make that. If I show up somewhere with a guy that makes 10 million a year I will be laughed at!

The rich often have a distorted sense of prices and cost of living. As a result, they believe they experience financial hardship when anyone else would look at them in their circumstances and wonder how they are blessed with such great wealth.

To me $250k might as well be 10 million dollars. I can't imagine it. It's beyond me.

Well a good friend of mine who went to doctors school for 10 years is now a millionaire and wasn't blessed with being wealthy. He went out and made it for himself, maybe you should learn how to make money! Its not that hard!

If it wasn't hard to be a millionaire 50% of the population wouldn't be making less than 30k a year.

Actually most of those poor people work harder than your average rich person.

The rich set up businesses like machines. They hire managers to run stores and deal with their employees, and the profit comes in with little to no effort on their part.

This maximizes their leisure time. They golf while the workers sweat.

Trump owns over 500 businesses. There are 365 days in a year. Think about that. That's how much he's personally involved in each business he owns.

Right, if it was so easy there would be a lot more millionaires. They rig the economy with tons of useless red tape and bureaucracy so that your average person doesn't have a chance.

The only way you get ahead is to have connections that get you work and get you through the mine fields of useless regulations. I've seen people work their butts off and barely move forward an inch, and I've seen people skate along doing the bare minimum on every job and magically get ahead.

Effort doesn't work, connections work. They desperately need you to think it's still a meritocracy so you are always willing to get on that hamster wheel and spin.

It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.

yep someone has to pay for those cuts.
usually its the lower and middle classes.
and these MAGAts are too stupid to know this

They still think that the trickle-down money is going to get to them... any day, now... any day.

It already got to me. Nice healthy paycheck increase and a little more back on income tax. Sorry, you didn't get an increase. Welfare only gets cost of living.

Wrong
The primary mandate
Is to keep inflation within a set
Usually 2-3%

Then why did Pelosi, AOC, and Powell say otherwise when they met in June? Inflation is their solution to maintaining >5% unemployment. The primary mandate is the goal of 5% Americans that want to work being unable to.

It’s interesting looking to
Debt to gdp ratio

USA debt only sits around 106

Iran it’s a positive figure

Japan holds 250% debt

US is easily repayable
Once the fixed cost of managing economy
Goes down
IE we fire a fuckload of gov Workers

From what I've heard most of our debt is owed to social security, i.e. we're borrowing on the collateral SS saved up.

Immigration reform will change the debt:income ratio for SS. I'm required to pay into SS and not cash out until 65, but someone not even coming here to apply for citizenship, or to contribute, is qualified to live off my retirement, seems a lot like subsidizing Joe to support Jose.

Quote:$3,355,970,000,000: Federal Spending Sets Record Through June; Deficit Hits $747,115,000,000

Quote:Table 3 of the Monthly Treasury Statement, which summarizes federal receipts and outlays for the current fiscal year to date, indicated the Department of Health and Human Services cost the most money, accounting for $901,867,000,000 in federal spending in the first nine months of the fiscal year. The Social Security Administration cost the second most, accounting for $822,993,000,000 in federal spending during the period.

The Department of Defense and military programs were third, accounting for $487,770,000,000 in federal spending.

The combined $1,724,860,000,000 the federal government spent on HHS and the Social Security Administration during the first nine months of the fiscal year equaled 51.4 percent of the record total of $3,355,970,000 in federal spending during the period.

I wonder if the Housing and Urban Development budget isn't where they get the coin for housing illegals and refugees.
