Plastic has become more than just a part of humans' daily lives; it’s now a part of the environment. Scientists in two very different places have made similar, startling observations in precipitation that demonstrate how plastic is finding its way into every facet of life on the planet.

In the Rocky Mountains, United States Geological Survey (USGS) scientists took samples of rainwater and accidentally found particles of microplastics. They originally had set out to analyze the samples to study rainwater for nitrogen pollution levels. Instead, they found something much more tragic...

It's the Environment, stupid.

So they found microscopic plastic. Wouldn't cause copd or lung cancer would it? Or is that only when it's mixed with the other stuff they were originally looking for?

Makes sense. Most of our moisture comes from the Pacific and condenses when the mountains lift it and chill it. So we would see concentrations from that.

Yea so let's stay on fossil fuels and continue to make Russia (OIL) rich
Let's not use superior synthetic fuels and recycle our filthy garbage
leave the garbage to rot and putrify for all future generations
that is the Legacy of the Sheep

How many garage dumps from the colonial period have been unearthed?
Do they really call this "progress"? And some how more "civilized"?

Pooky had a pinned thread about it a day or 2 ago.

I do wonder the method for collecting the rain, was it by glass or plastic beakers? as plastic beakers themselves could be self-polluting.

Sweeping the Fukushima disaster under the rug & out of the MSM headlines, isn't helping. It continues, & yet is being completely ignored. Why is that? It would seem if the superpowers & globalists really cared about humanity, they would push the pause button, & address Fukushima, until it gets completely resolved? I guess if the greedy are not making a profit from something, it gets pushed to the backburner?

So far, the solution has been to ban and replace paper wrapped plastic straws with paper straws wrapped in plastic.

We need to stop creating any more bio degradable plastics .

They have made everything worse .

We can collect up all the original plastics but those that degrade could be the ones getting into everything ..

We can't fix Fuku with current tech. At all. They know it and will go to great lengths to ensure that the general public does not.
