Okay,reposted by request:)

Let me introduce you to the wonderful beautiful magical world of miniatures:)

This is a Brosher mechanism of a mechanical 17 jewels Swiss watch.

It was made in 1977,the hands and the base are made of white gold, and white gold is very very rare used in base watches mechanism. The case was made of white gold ornated with emeralds and diamonds. It is very rare.It has 17 jewels and many marks on it like AS,PA and the year 1977 written under the balance wheel. The sound and the image of how it works are pure delight:)

I love to collect them,I have dozens upon dozens,90 percent Swiss made and very rare.

RE: tiny objects thread
Miniature art or painting in little is a genre that focuses on art (especially painting, engraving and sculpture) with a long history that dates back to the scribes of the medieval ages. Miniature art societies, such as the World Federation of Miniaturists (WFM), provide applicable definitions of the term.[1] An often-used definition is that a piece of miniature art can be held in the palm of the hand, or that it covers less than 25 square inches or 100 cm². Subjects are depicted in 1/6 actual size, and in all paintings the spirit of miniaturisation should be maintained.

Miniature art has been made for over 1000 years and is prized by collectors. The U.S. White House, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Astolat Dollhouse Castle, and museums around the world have collections of miniature paintings, drawings, original prints and etchings, and sculpture.[citation needed]

Miniatures are executed on a very small scale for books or albums on perishable material such as paper and cloth. The Palas of Bengal were the pioneers of miniature painting in India

my daughter has been taking old unused dial watches and fitting them with miniature paintings instead, as jewelry. because everyone carries a cellphone now.

RE: tiny objects thread
So when I was a kid, I used to find ladies hat pins... they're not used anymore. Then I would mix up flesh colored acrylic paint, dip the top in several times drying in between, until I had a doll head. Then I painted on features with a tiny camel hair brush, and used wire to make arms and legs, and hands on the ends. Then I made clothing for them from scraps, and hair from embroidery thread. Then you had a little person you could pin onto your lapel.

Very tiny pin head people.

chuckle

Smallest Surviving Baby

Born after only 26 weeks in utero, a little girl born in Witten, Germany in 2016 is known as the world’s smallest premature baby to survive. Weighing in at 8 ounces and 8.6 inches, Emilia Grabarczyk came into this world in 2016 and beat the odds through surgeries and setbacks to flourish as a healthy-sized baby just nine months after her birth.
