Which one of you sad sacks needs a job ?

I’ve recently been communicating with a acquaintance about a job for one of my adopted troublemakers . He manages a oil company in North Dakota . I’m not gonna put anybody in touch with him but he did mention this tidbit

Quote:The Bakken area is roughly 17,000 people short as far as employment goes, everyone offers training and usually someone starts out at 60-80k a year... requirements generally are passing a random drug test, being able to show up for work on time and a pulse.

It’s not just for roughnecks/riggers there are all kinds of openings . ( looks like CDL licenses are at a premium )

Here’s a start look around if you’re interested .

https://www.indeed.com/q-Bakken-jobs.html

https://www.indeed.com/q-Bakken-jobs.html

I’m gonna add this because many people don’t try it. If they’re interested in you they will ask how much you want an hour. The rule of thumb is ask for about five dollars more than the going rate . A lot of the time a employer will meet you halfway .

Something to look into if your life is currently in a spiral .

Note

Now trolls begin giving me sh*t for trying to help out you bunch of spazzes .

A lot of them offer relocation after you get there and free or very cheap housing .

But on the other hand it is a hell of a lot colder than Mom’s basement .
( not directed at you )!

I heard a story about truck driving in North Dakota in the winter. Apparently it will be 50 below and you'll see fields with cows frozen stiff.... as in dead.
