Welll I have.

And I have had TOOLS that have mysteriously DISAPPEARED from my toolbox as if SOMEONE assumed I could not POSSIBLY EVEN NOTICE that they were MISSING.

Being a STUPID GIRL and all, who should NEED a toolbox anyway! Because there will always be a MAN TO DO FOR ME!!

BAD ASSUMPTION~~!!

Jptdknpa

Tools? We don't NEED tools!

If you want to hammer it in:
Highheels, meat pounders, just about anything (rocks even) = hammers!

If you have to screw it in:
1. Either get a ladder and four Aggies to turn that ladder while you stand on it (for lightbulbs)
or
2. Get it so drunk that it'll be unable to screw.
3. Order a screwball.

All other tools are useless too:

For lawnmowers - tie a sheep to each tree

and so on

We don't need mechanics! Those wheels roll just fine on flat tires! Bit noisy, but it works.

WEll, hope there was a giggle somewhere there. j/k post

chuckle

Have you ever discovered that the men in your life have frequently LIED about their mechanical abilities, and have been willing to say nearly ANYTHING in the mistaken belief that you as a WOMAN wouldn't have a f*cking CLUE anyways?

AND they BELIEVE they have gotten AWAY WITH IT???

Lmao

No
Men who say, I can fix a car, could fix a car.

My experience has been the opposite.
If that are not mechanically inclined, they say, I suck at that stuff.
Call a plumber.

I learned a long time ago to say I don't know, but I could try to find out online.

Take your car into the shop for A/C freon refill or a wheel alignment or some other routine job and what do we get? 40 to 45 minutes of watching the mechanic behind the desk watching a YOUTUBE video on how to refill that freon in your A/C or how to align your wheels on your ordinary car!

TRUE! Both happened, two different trips.

Those new young men just WING-IT - LOL

There are no real mechanics anymore. Real mechanics died out.

There is a reason women are vastly underrepresented in the fields of mechanics, construction, and maintenance.

They can learn it.
They just don't want to.

We have a machine broke down at work.
They're having a lady mechanic fix it for us.

It's prob. just a starter switch, but I'm all for her working on it.
She's a good mechanic and quite smart.

I took a course in minor home repairs, for just the opposite reason. So I wouldn't be completely helpless when it came to smaller hkne repairs, and I'd save some money doing it myself. .
Plumbing, electric, dry wall. Tiling, spackling, grouting.

Try again Einstein

No..I've never let anyone do mechanical things for me, I always preferred to have them done professionally. My dad actually encouraged me to do that. He taught me things he thought every girl should know though, like changing a flat tire, how to drive a manual transmission and even double clutch and how to ride a motorcycle. He preferred to hire it done too. My husband can do all sorts of things but we usually just pay someone to do them.

When I was dating I was always skittish about becoming indebted to men. chuckle

That's great if you're wealthy, but these days the majority of people are in debt and don't have a spare $500 or whatever to pay someone to things for them. This is why there has been such a surge in the DIY scene.

I'm an actual expert when it comes to appliances; on a daily basis I teach women how to properly use their appliances, and I repair them when they're broken:)

I have a better chance fixing your computer than fixing your car. Anyways you ladies are supposed to be emancipated, and equal. So go be equal and emancipated.

It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.

No, but I asked one not to do any plumbing and raced home to find that he had already put a hole in my wall.

Meanwhile, there was a panel.

He got mad when I showed him, but damn.

Sometimes, a woman may know enough to catch the man in the lie.

But the real question is, could she do it herself without help?
