Very nice! That's a good mix, it fixes a lot of the downsides to each breed. Also, that dog is going to be whip smart. Those are some of the two smartest breeds. And very disciplined, i you train properly.

Super cute !

He will grow to be a very powerful dog

Raise him right!

I see idiots ( not implying you are one) letting big dogs drag them around on a leash ... stupid people get dogs for stupid reasons

Go to “The Art or Raising a Puppy” - either buy or it might be in the library - written 25 years ago by

The Monks of Newskeet who raise those Belgian Malinois huge powerful dogs successfully and charge $5000 to train them for police etc

They know dogs

Main theme

Your dog is part of your pack and YOU are the ALPHA dog and must be respected !

Dogs will constantly try to establish dominance - don’t let that happen - your dog will be happier - they don’t make good decisions on their own as leaders - but are HAPPY to let an established Alpha to tell them and train them what to do.

Example : Do NOT let the puppy stand on your chest or gaze down at you - he is establishing dominance. My toy dog would get up on the back of the couch to look down on me when she didn’t want to do something )haha) -

It is a King or the Hill thing - don’t let him look down on you. And for now / let the Cat have a perch above him but close so he can’t look down on the cat / and he won’t cause trouble with it later .

Funny, I never noticed that in my dogs.

Maybe if the owner is obsessing over dominance, then the dog will
reflect his personality back.

Dogs have very specific needs. If their needs are unmet, then they can
get very stubborn and even aggressive.

Got a friend with a beautiful female pit bull...

Were at the forest preserve and he went off to chase off a cluster of deer cuz it was making her restless...

Gave me the leash... as the dog began to get off her haunches to chase... I tighten my grip... LOOKED DOWN and in a rougher voice said SIT.

Seems to work...

Good for you. If I ever get another dog, it will be a Rot. They are the kindest most obedient and loyal and protective dogs I have ever seen.

What a cute guy! I'm not a fan of German Shepards but love mixes

You do not like German Shephards?

.. Go figure you use the Altasian spelling kind of like what you have done with the penny.
