Volcanic lightning is very common, much more common than geologists will admit. It's caused by the same phenomenon I described.

Cool video, volcanoes with lightning easily tops sharks with lasers.

I fear not pain nor death, my only fear is living without honor.

Yah those magma veins are like wires conducting electrical flow right to the core.

It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.

California Power Provider PG&E Files For Bankruptcy In Wake Of Fire Lawsuits

I think these Power Shut Offs are directly related to the 30 billion in possible lawsuits PG&E are facing....

"Cannot blame us for fires if the power is off....crying shame about the hit the local economy might take. So sorry for the inconvenience"

Maybe holding customers hostage in exchange for some blanket immunity deal in regards to the lawsuits.....who knows what backdoor deals they have going on.

Yah there's a magma bubble. That's why they get periodic methane gas leaks from underground.

Some kind of vent system, maybe the magma moves on to the Yellowstone caldera.

Which has nothing to do with the power shutoff.

And, relatively speaking, there was not squat for fires in So Cal this year.

I'm guessing its a trial run for when we lose the entire power grid nation wide...

Power shut off for up to seven days?

If they are going bankrupt, why didn't they do this last year for seven days...

Gee, all that and just in time for Yom Kipper too!

How cool is that, hey...

Because of windy, dry weather conditions, a Fire Weather Watch is in effect starting Wednesday at 5 a.m. in the North Bay mountains and valleys, the East Bay hills and the Santa Cruz Mountains.

I received my text message from PG&E as well. Wind is picking up a bit in Eireka, so they may turn it off. I dutifully pressed '1'.

A few random thoughts...

If you're thinking magma and methane leaks, well then, one flicked cigarette may blow the entire state to kingdom come. Somehow, I think not. So this alleged sea of magma is just festering and is getting ready to blow? Sounds like a red herring. However, if you have some hard evidence, bring it on.

CA passed a law that passes the cost of lawsuits against PGE onto the consumer. They are bankrupt, you know. Sure they are.

CA gov recently said ham radios are not needed.

You all might want to start connecting dots.

What happens in CA does not stay in CA

What is the power shutoff for?

Strong winds. If you've never experienced Santa Anna winds in California, you won't know what people are talking about. But it's storm-strength winds without a drop of rain, but instead, desert-dry humidity levels. It blows power lines, causing them to ignite fires. Oct. and Nov. are usually the worst months for the dry winds and fires.

Interesting theory.

Yah the recent wildfires that destroyed so many homes left trees standing in some spots while burnt in others.

Any many houses were burned to the ground while trees remained in the front or back yards.

[img=500x323]https://www.metabunk.org/attachments/20171211-132929-v6fe2-jpg.30583/

Magma, especially if it contains a lot of metals, conducts electricity. That electricity, like lighting, comes from electrical potential buildup in the ionosphere, from ions in the sun's solar winds. When the potential becomes large enough (like plates on a capacitor) to jump the insulation barrier (atmosphere) there is an electrical discharge (lighting).

The air can become ionized, electricity flows from the ionosphere to the earth's surface. Homes are susceptible because they are 'grounded' to the earth so the electricity flows right through the wiring into ground causing the wiring to overload and catch fire.

wrong
maybe you want to explain the "dustification" process in 9/11 with your aberrant theory
because they used the same weapon
houses dustyfied to the foundation....i don´t see carbonized material....it means macrowaves....burned from the inside out

I find that easier to believe then the DEW theories.
