The debate of positivity

Having a goodly and positive attitude is overall linked to better outcomes in life (apparently). But, are you sacrificing the truth of a bleak and dull world for this fake positive attitude? Honestly, I would rather experience the cold hard depths of reality than merely float around on could 9 cheering my way through sunshine ville.

RE: The debate of positivity
I've struggled with this my entire life. When I'm in a great mood, it feels like THIS is reality. Likewise when I'm feeling down.

So I don't know actually.

RE: The debate of positivity
Some people are extremely lucky, they're happy with life and satisfied. Then there are majority of people who aren't lucky, and are never satisfied much less full of fortune.

Personally, I happen to be in the bad luck camp. I say luck because what else could I say? Fate? I don't believe in pre-destinations. I could say that the universe is just against some people for some reason and prevents them from ever being satisfied, continually scraping to survive.

I don't know it sort of drives me nuts when people say you are where you are because of your attitude. I think some people are just lucky and instead of admitting they are lucky they say it's having a winning attitude.

It's the same thing in the wealth and prosperity churches. I can't stand to hear those kinds of 'sermons'.

It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.

I have a different forum (not this one, definitely not this one) where I pretend to be a positive, friendly, and upbeat person. It's pretty fun, even if it doesn't match my real personality.
