If a large chunk of Antarctica fell into the ocean facing land then that would be bad for any land it's facing.

Entirely possible. Aborigines are the world's oldest culture, they have a powerful connection to the planet's actual consciousness, and events in my own corner of the world require, expect some great revelation to take over late 2019. It might be 'just' a spiritual event after the Singapore eclipse on December 26.. but you will really want to watch on which side you've placed your bets, freedom or slavery.

Also, I started an intense, purposeful process just these same nine months ago, it's confirmation.

Most likely you are correct that nothing will happen and all doom prophecies will never occur, though technically you only have to be wrong once. Even the little known far fetched predictions can be right on occasion and are therefore interesting to bring up, look at, and examine.
