Why no option for it to be in the religious subforum where it belongs?

It's based entirely on faith and belief.

That is certainly an option, but the Flat Earth group doesn't seem to believe that is fair and want it to be on the front page for all to see.

I used to doubt psychology until I met so many of you suffering from Apophenia and Pareidolia.

How many times has this been proposed? How many times has EVERY topic been hijacked by them and turned into a flat earth thread?

Just let them have their FE thread and leave them alone to it regardless how many despise it.

This forum caters for all kinds of odd balls already, I know, since I snoop on you all. :thumbup

If they can prove it's a theory with science then it can stay on the main forum

Many FE believers are not basing their arguments on religion. FE threads should not be in the religious sub forum. It is generally not a religious topic it is a very broad and complex CT.

Here's the deal: If they can prove that FE is a theory via scientific method, then it can stay on the main forum. K? You know why I'm saying this? Because I'm 100% confident that they can't do it.

Sure, it should be allowed for discussion. Unless you're an astronaut who has actually been to space, who really knows for certain what shape it is? Those fossilized human footprints mixed with dinosaur tracks found all over the globe contradict what we've all been told in school about our past, and that alone begs the question: How much of what we've been programmed to believe is actually true? Although I'm not sold on the flat Earth theory, I have to admit that there are some interesting aspects to it that a curved Earth fails to fully explain. Maybe it's a convex shape, as some have suggested. Nothing is fact until proven. Who has actually proven that the Earth is a round ball? Has anyone actually proven this, or has this theory just been so entrenched into our programming that we refuse to even discuss any other possible alternative?

Nothing has ever been "proven" to everybody at LOP, on any topic. And you are wrong some FE folks think the aliens and the government are in cahoots on keeping the flat earth evidence from coming out and there are other theories that have no basis in religion.

i believe it should be , but not because its an important topic but because if people are interested in posting about it they should be able to do so .....

im getting pretty tired of the crackdown on free and open discourse because our techno surveillance nannies decree the topic or even individual opinions are verboten for whatever reason ....look around the range of allowable speech is being progressively narrowed all of the time . you may not see it but its because you have your memes , facebook feed about your latest purchases , and the spoonfed regurgitations from your political industrial duopoly propaganda feed .....

2000 pages already on this subject in one thread and it is a thread of regurgitated material over and over again!

No need to consume valuable database space on a subject that has been covered already!

It is not healthy for the community nor the mods and admin!

No. There's not a FE scientific theory. FE is not a theory. It is a set of beliefs though. That is as close to being a theory as it will ever get. I don't care what people think. I'm talking about what they can prove. A theory can be proven, observed, tested, predicted. FE can not be pass any of the requirements to reach actual theory status. Do you comprehend yet?

Sure, in the religious forum where it belongs. That's the nature of a compromise after all. Most of the community HATES FE and doesn't want it here at all. FEers want to do their COINTELPRO jobs and spam the front page. Meet in the middle. Subforum that sh*t.

I comprehend that you are worth arguing with. My points are all made and valid, yours are not worth going on about. Have a great day.

if you think you can get away with putting FE threads in a religious forum then i suppose its worth a try .

that would degrade this place in several ways , but oh well its been in the shitter for years anyway .
