It has great features. But the design is going to turn a lot of potential buyers off I would think. I’d take the Jeep pickup over that. It’s way too flashy for most truck drivers tastes.

Well that's just it. He just shot it with bullets and hit it with a hammer. But didn't show us how to get in, or even open the door. It looks very awkward and uncomfortable.

It's a truck, right? So did he design tie-downs and normal practical things like that. There's no tailgate, so why won't stuff just flip off the back when the driver uses all that massive tesla acceleration?

I guess there is a tail gate. But where does that bed cover go? And it seems like the rear seats and the bed occupy the same space. Ah well, if I cared enough I could see if I could find some specs on the thing.

Yeah it does trucky things

What a load of shite.

Didn't anyone even watch the video and notice that the glass on it shattered when they did a test demo on it?

So what would be a fair price?

musk could mass produce some cheap, easy to work on small electric cars, that the average person could afford, but he won't do that will he?

Batteries are expensive. Tesla has a program to ramp up volume and refine the technology to bring down their price. The original roadster which was built on an Elise rolling chasis ( tiny spartan sports car ) started at $98,000. The model S, a full sized saloon starts at $68,000. The model 3 starts at $35,000 which compete directly with BMW series 3 on price and now this truck, which seems to compete with Ford and Rivians that cost around $65,000 starts at $39,000. So inevitably Tesla will be making an inexpensive compact car as costs are driven out of battery packs etc. but it's a few years away yet.

hell with his influence and power he could create the next geo metro and make it a hybrid getting over 100 mpg

but he won't do that either

no because he enjoys sucking up government subsidies and not helping the general public

Its all about his vanity, and showing off. One of the worst traits of human nature

I kind of like it.

I think Musk must have been smoking weed and watching Logan's run when he designed his cybertruck
