I'm guessing this layer increases and decreases based upon the size and strength of the sun. The existence of such a boundary surely enables us to examine other solar systems in such a way as to figure out their makeup as well as how variables in physics equations are surely affected, namely the rate and speed of time.

All that kinda went over my head but it sure as hell is interesting!

Oh, you'd know if you were in the Lake of Fire, genius which, by the way, IS the Sun...

Sounds cool but you could probably walk around in it and not get burned because its so thin.

Physicists determine the makeup of stars in part by their color and brightness. By examining their outer ring relative to their central star a whole lot of other detail ought to be ascertainable. A star is pretty much a gravity well of any solar system, much in the same way that a black hole is a gravity well of a galaxy. The thing about galaxy wells is that they distort time, and when taken together synchronize with one another in a way that is clockwork. It pretty much boils down to being hydrostatic pressure, doors and windows and the like can't be opened under water until both sides of them are at equal pressure and as such there needs to be some sort of centralized gravity well to ensure that happens, a grand systematic clock if you will. My theory.

Hi KOE. I legit was going to pick you up from DT H town when you were at the Bus stop, but I was working. I'm glad to see you are ok. Just wanted to say that.

Take care of yourself, k?

Yeah, puzzled a bit by how voyager is fine, while measuring thousands of degrees outside.

It must be so thin that voyager touching the plasma doesn't heat voyager much, but cold voyager cools the tiny bits of plasma very rapidly.

One would think if voyager can get past the Van Allen Belt that this ring of fire should be equally not a problem.

The radiation in the van Allen belt is primarily perhaps a problem for our cells. But machines and metal don't care too much about it.

and yet the temperature is beyond the melting point of the machinery, that is the point, if the Van Allen Belt isn't a problem than surely the ring of fire won't be as it surely operates the same
