Ignore isn't an option when on acid...most likely she was on a trip in her head and not mentally present to the actions around her.
Am I the only one here who's had an acid trip?

well, he's already damned her to being a sweety going to hell, what's the point in arguing with someone like that

For f*cks sake, she's probably been dead for 18 years.

Ahh, no. And, I bet I had way more than you.

Not competing, just saying....in my experience, acid altered your perception of reality....hard to distinguish the trip from the truth.

They killed that black guy in cold blood
Flush out your brain housing group citizen. Your "black guy" pulled a gun. HE BROUGHT A GUN TO A KNIFE FIGHT AND LOST. However, you are welcome to drop by one of the club houses and express your opinion.

What Jagger didn’t fully realize is that by the time he arrived, the Altamont Free Concert wasn’t just underway, it was already out of control.

so the 1960's wasn't all it was cracked up to be told to us by the boomers

I agree , my point of contention is that the girl didn't look even slightly perturbed by the events around her, it's eerie. You could say that she might have been oblivious to her surroundings, and you might be right.

It just seems creepy, to me. OK?

Perhaps she just ignored everything behind her.

Man I had lots of acid. Actual LSD the good stuff - British micro-dots, not like the rubbish the kiddies call acid these days.

I've also been to plenty of gigs tripping off my face. If something heavy like that was going down behind me I would have FELT that sh*t.

Something that has just come to mind though; there were trips when there were negative vibes around me, people going into dark places, where one had the choice of focusing on the positive while ignoring the negative for fear of falling into the dark & having a bad trip.

Never had a bad one [simply because I was taught how to focus & guide the trip where I wanted it to go] but I've seen quite a few who did freak out.
Many who did were never the same again, like they were a different person.

If she was trippin', of course she's oblivious!

What in real time may have been a fight, in HER MIND she was dancing with fairie boots and a dwarf!

Like Altamont was the only concert fiasco in history.
Even today people are being trampled to death in crowds at foreign concerts, White Snake presided over a fiery conflagration due to pyrotechnics, Dime Bag Darrel was shot down like a dog (by a modern, wonderful person) all sorts of stupid things happen at musical venues.

The Stones hired the Angels (an error in judgement) then a black attendee pulled a weapon and started the violence which the Angles put a stop to.
And that's life in the drugged up rock and roll lane.

50 years ago the Rolling Stones headlined a ‘West Coast Woodstock.’Altamont ended the ’60s with chaos and death.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/...niversary/

The helicopter landed just before 3 p.m. and Mick Jagger, 26 years old, bushy-haired and chewing gum, peacocked onto the pavement. That’s when a stranger ran toward him. “I hate you!” the man screamed, and then he punched the Rolling Stones singer in the mouth.

Rofl

Oh Dear.... I remember when Altamont happened.

I always considered the Rolling Stones to be a dark bunch of people. They advertised hard drugs and they sympathized with the Devil.

They all looked terribly ugly.

Anon

I came. I saw. I Concorde.
