Easy solutions that never happen

A community run for profit nursing home . Employing retired people and local nurses charging a fair amount
Current cost of nursing homes are around 5 k a mo
10 k for memory care .
Basically stealing money in a transfer of wealth from families to groups of investors sometimes from other countries

For a room with a toilet and a nurse making 12$ an hour. It's around 100k a year.

Why don't a collection of people offer a solution that saves money and employs local people in need of part time work. Some profits could be reinvested in the community for schools ,addiction programs or half way houses. Instead of large groups of unknown business groups.

Or just boycott Google Facebook until they found a way as a .05 percent tax .. Maybe as a penalty for stealing others data knowing it was illegal

Random things like that could work . It's just already planned against so it would take some sort of consumer protection agency that can put pressure on the bottom lines of companies making a lot of money. Who knows throw the cable companies in there as well. . Maybe Wal Mart . Hmm home Depot all these stores making so much would happily donate a few million if they stood to lose more than that. All of a sudden they would find compassion as it would reflect poorly in their brand . Maybe a week of boycotts unless they do something for elderly . And use Facebook like they use you all to fund it and organize it. Using the methods to control you to control them because they are slaves to money and the consumer as businesses and consumers can choose where they spend their money based on ethical reasons .

It's been thought of I'm sure but seems not that difficult .

I don't know what impoverished area you live in, but my area has tons of Nursing Jobs at Residential Facilities, and the going rate is $19 - $51 per hour based on experience, with anywhere from $3,000 - $10,000 signing bonuses. Even the Government run facilities are $53,286 - $104,824 a year.

As many are run by Non-Profit Health companies, they also offer tuition reimbursement and debt forgiveness after 4 years. In simple language, work for 4 years and they will pay your entire student debt. They also pay for any and all continuing education and certifications.

Many also post adds that read: RN - Registered Nurse - $10 Per Hr. Shift Diff

These are not $10 per hour jobs, but $27 - $39 per hour jobs that offer a bonus $10 per hour for working 10 out of 12 Saturdays and Sundays and be paid an addition $10 per hour during those shifts, making weekend pay $37-$49 per hour.

This means a nurse make $35 per hour makes $72,800 per year + a minimum of $6,930 per year (based on 8/10 weekends work 8 hour shifts). However, many nursing shifts are not 8 hour days, but 10-12 hour days, which means their salary can be close to $90K per year...with full benefits as most health care jobs have some of the best benefits around.

I used to doubt psychology until I met so many of you suffering from Apophenia and Pareidolia.
