Ps The Thief and Assasin Storyline are always the best in elderscrolls. Head for Riften first.

"Tricky Dicky Ritchy Eldrich is indeed an asshole. You should commit yourself to a monastery and live out your dwindling days milking goats and making foul smelling cheese in some dank basement, wot."

RE: Skyrim
What a beautiful game. I think I will start a new game this weekend.

It's always tough until you get leveled up a bit and enhance your skill and armor.

I've spent days... literally days... smithing, enchanting and selling armor and weapons in Whiterun.

IF you get bored with slaying dragons and all forms of living dead, vampires, animals, etc, you can eventually build a house, get married and adopt some kids.

Months of fun.

On second thought, I'm not confident I have the time to start a new game.chuckle

RE: Skyrim
Some random NPC tried to convince me I should go someplace and talk to some dude to learn about being "dragonborn" and killing dragons. But I had just downed a dragon without any such guidance, so I thought I didn't need to do that newbie sh*t!

...and that's the reason I never completed the main story line. Because it turns out I was really meant to talk to that dude.

Luckily, the side quests are great, so I had a fun time playing anyway!

I'm going to watch the videos too, and report back.

But it looks like I'm holding an orb and nothing happens when I try to use the sh*t.

Does it make a noise when you try to cast it and your blue bar in the bottom right blinks red for a second?

That would mean you do not have the required mana to cast the spell and you need to level up your mana more or choose a lower level spell to practice with first.

Another noob question.

Killed some bandits, and used a leather working tool they had in camp.

Waited....

Waited....

Straps, still straps....

Help a noob out man.

You make the animal hides into leather at the tanning thing, then you turn the leather into leather scraps at the same tanning thing. Then you take the pieces to the blacksmith forge to craft the weapons and armor from those leather pieces.

Oh also if you ever get stuck on a rock again, go to your map and click on a location to instantly fast travel there.

if he's stuck on leather-working and can't make his own armor yet - he's near hopeless

RE: Skyrim
How you play is going to depend on your chosen class. One of my favorite styles is a sneaky character who is good at archery. On the magic side of that, learning conjuration and getting conjure bow is a huge boost since the bow you get is a high end daedric one with infinite arrows (until the spell runs out).

If you go into blacksmithing and enchantment you can become overpowered and eventually will be able to make equipment stronger than anything you can find in the game. There are guides out there on how to ramp up those skills, including some obnoxious exploits.

Also you might want to try playing with a gamepad. I think it's just a bit easier.

The LORD thunders at the head of his army; his forces are beyond number,
and mighty is the army that obeys his command.
The day of the LORD is great; it is dreadful. Who can endure it?

RE: Skyrim
Hohoho youse is fkn noobs,, I got over 400 mods in my smyrim, with bashed patches, an smashed patches, new textures, like this, but more violent.

Took me 2 YEARS to get my mod list perfect.
My skyrim data folder is over 80 gigabytes

When you start modding, follow the STEP guide,, the ORDER you install the mods is just as important as the load order

IF you have played the sh*t outta skyrim, gotten auriels bow, killed velek, killed karstag, and realised, o the colour palette is shite, you can wade into this, bear in mind its like building a gearbox, you cannot just throws all the gears into the housing, close it, an expect it to work, o no, the gears must go in order, an in right place so everything can work in harmony, I have my ini settings so 100 npcs can be involved in combat, granted my pc is a i7 7700 with 16gb prams an a 1080gtx etc etc,

https://wiki.step-project.com/Project:Sk...al_Edition

That is if yer on pc.
Consloes, pah 30fps I got 60fps constant on ultra.

I've been bored.

Yeah I know I'm years behind the times, but I got a mega discount and remember Richard and Archie raving about it.

So I recently bought.

This thread is about anything game related you want to share.

Please bold spoilers.

That said, as a noob, I'm having trouble using magic. I mean I'm real noob. Fking click the mouse and nothing happens. Can't figure that sh*t out.

Shield works, melee works, magic ball, keep getting hit & sh*t. So if an elder can take some time would be appreciated.

Also got fking stuck between some rocks couldn't escape, many saves learned just in case.

I've never played it on PC but the PC version has some sweet mods, you should look into those, they will add many hours to your gameplay.
